Or 4-1 just before that but for a great save by Townsend. :)

Eh? He pulled off a good save but still cost us a goal. One does not excuse the other

    No.

What i was saying (or trying to point out) is that this bbs knows everything. We are all right.

Lots calling for davies to "have a rest".

Now he is its the wrong choice.

Ballacks to the 10 in front of him.

A keeper can only do so much. But when whats in front of him isnt much then a keeper is an easy target

Our squad is awful no doubt. I'm sure some did blame Davies, I myself said he could do with taking out for his own protection but we don't have another option.
This is what happens, Hecky and Jose have both done the same, swapping the players as the ones playing aren't good enough. Then the ones that come in aren't good enough and round the circle goes.
The squad isn't good enough, we either can't or won't compete financially in this division the league table shows the results. Individual player performances are nothing more than the symptoms of this.

I did say Davies needed a rest. It should have happened sooner. Ideally we would have had a keeper in during the January window. Davies needed to be taken out of the team.

Not dropping for two months for an inferior keeper though. Davies had been poor, Townsend had been patient and warranted a chance.

He’s shown he’s not good enough - Davies has been in poor form and shot of confidence, he needed a break, but he is clearly the superior of the two.

Get him back in, play Yiadom every game, stop rotating full backs generally and we might have a sniff.
