    Here are the goals

    http://www.skysports.com/football/mboro-vs-barnsley/report/375056

1st goal, awful marking. 2nd goal a carbon copy of Grujic's on Tuesday, just stood right off and allowed to ping one into the corner from edge of the box. 3rd goal, embarrassing from Townsend and again no-one bothering to pick up the scorer. That's a conscious decision not to mark Patrick Bamford, who had scored 7 in 4 before today.

We know they can't score more than one a game unless it's against Birmingham, so is it too much to ask our players to at least do the basics at the other end?

If we don't win one of our next 3 home games we don't deserve to stay up.

How slow is Pinillos? Jesus! On the breakaway their lad took 5 yards out of him in 5 yards. Pinillos made all the movements as though he was running but stayed still. We've signed Wylie Coyote.

2nd goal is a great finish but there's no-one stood within 5 yards of him. Same as Cardiff's 2nd. So we've not learned.

Close him down on the 2nd and he would have waltzed past them. Pinillos judging by his body shape is trying to force him down the line and stop him cutting inside. Alan Hansen used to find a fault in every goal, there is always one.

Their keeper made exactly the same mistake as ours, misjudged the cross from the corner and got under the ball, leaving an empty net. Their lad slotted it home, Moore hit the post.

Not sure what Townsend was doing for their first. It's a novel approach to the art of goalkeeping, taking a sit down in the six yarder when a cross is coming in.

Their keeper looked a ******* liability. We didn't have a shot at him in the first half, were they his real hands.

He’s a joke. Picking him is ludicrous. Davies may be out of form but should he recover it he is at least a professional level goalkeeper unlike Townsend.

All the warning signs were evident re Townsend against Brum but he got away with a combination of poor finishing and some good defending digging him out of trouble.

All the talk of Townsend.. Wasn't Pinillos the main culprit for goals 2 and a nearly goal 4. Goal 2 he stood off the defender by 3 or 4 yards IN OUR OWN AREA!! allowing him to shoot . 'almost' goal 4 l he had a big enough start to get to the ball long before the attacking player and could then have passed back to Townsend to clear. Instead he was overhauled leaving the defender 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper. Bit unfair to blame the goalkeeper with an onrushing defender and no cover and good save.

As already stated on here Pinillos is 'slower than a slow thing in Slowsville' On par with Div 2 or some better Sunday leaguers from that showing..

EDIT Should really put my glasses on before typing... 'Pinillos'

First goal was a good cross, but probably Cavare’s fault for letting him get in front of him. Not sure you can blame Lindsay who just couldn’t get there.

Second goal was poor from Pinillos who was obviously scared of his pace. I can’t help wondering whether Davies would have got a hand to it. Anything in the corners and Townsend is just too small to reach.

Third was shocking from Townsend. McBurnie was marking Bamford and he’d have headed the ball away had Townsend not got involved.

For me, Davies and Yiadom have to start in place of Townsend and Cavare. Not fussed about which of Pinillos/Fryers.

He doesn't understand the concept of commanding his area. Marking may have been sh*** for the first goal, but having him falling on his arse brought a touch of comedy to the situation.

I agree about the defending....with our goalkeepers you would think they would not let anyone shoot. We must concede more goals from outside the box than any other team.
