How much more does the US electorate / Senate/ Law enforcement need to have it rubbed in their face that Donald Trump is having his strings pulled by Putin. The day after Tilerson critices Putin - Tilerson gets the sack. He didnt' even try and disguise the reason this time by waiting a few days. I think Trump would have to stand on the white house steps in an I love Putin T shirt and USSR underpants whilst drinking a bottle of Smirnoff before the yanks twig. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43388723 I'd love to think Trump was doing this all as a bet or a practical joke and on April 1st he was going to resign thanking everyone for a great laugh
This is one of the best features I've read in a long time: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/03/12/christopher-steele-the-man-behind-the-trump-dossier He won't survive Mueller's investigation.
Brings into focus the tories and DUP motivation for agreeing to hide the source of the DUPs Brexit funding.
Tillerson was told he was leaving on Friday apparently. Had a bit more free reign to speak out as a result ?
Given the way they kill they enemies over here I doubt Putin has the sophistication to pull anyone's strings. And there's much more evidence that our PM is having her strings pulled by Saudi Arabia IMO.
Assuming it was in fact Russia then it's pretty clear that they are happy for everyone to know it's them. I'm sure they could have made a much better job of hiding their involvement if they had wanted to.
Jeremy Vine on BBC 2 this morning, reckons that the best way to "punish" Russia and Putin,is for England to withdraw from the F.I.F.A World Cup. He said that there probably is support from Germany for such an idea. Putin sounds a real odious barsteward. In a press interview Ms Merkel had confided that she was literally terrified of dogs. Putin had read of her fear. At their meeting in 2007, so as to put her on edge , he let his dog Koni "prowl" around in front of the German Chancellor to ensure that she was totally unnerved during their talks. http://uk.businessinsider.com/putin-merkel-meeting-dog-2017-7
Putin had legislation passed in 2006 by Russia's Upper House to make it legal to order the extrajudicial killings of anyone abroad, suspected of extremism or terrorism, so technically all he has to do, is inform the Upper House of his proposed actions, but he's allowed to keep any key details regarding logistics and unit size, a secret. http://www.euronews.com/2018/03/08/...-have-to-order-extrajudicial-killings-abroad-
Why Did Trump Fire Tillerson Now? https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/03/exodus-rex/555473/?utm_source=atlfb
Course they could .. Shame no one's mentioning the 4 Russian ambassadors and diplomats who all died within a month last year.. The Brits, Americans etc have been bumping folk off for years .. yet noone tries setting off ww3 over what they do. So much faux news over Russia, it's laughable. As long as they stop USA getting away with trying to run half the Globe, good on em.
