Post match comment's left a lot to be desired.. No tempo to the game slow and predictable. If that was a performace to be proud of then he might as well throw in the towel. Shocking levels of effort by all but a couple of players that won't be here next season. Norwich were already on the beach and they still got a point. If the TEAM lose lets go down fighting not with a wimper. Jose need to realise the levels required to compete in the Championship. He needs to get his act together before Saturday. I think the boards been blinded by his relationship with the alledged Special One. Alas he was not so special last night. Maybe he will get a job with him again in his next position. I will be happy to eat my words but am concerned Jose isnt up to it.

Last night wasn't great, far from it, and I was critical of our tactics in the last half an hour but I think it is too early to say that Jose isn't up to it when, quite clearly, the majority of players at his disposal are not up to it (yet).

That's the spirit. The coach who's been here 3 weeks and 6 days needs to get his act together.

most on here were blinded by his relationship with Mourinho to be fair. But a closer look at JM's own record reveals it to be average at best (albeit a small sample size).
I was an advocate for Ross and I think I'll be proven right within a year as his team romps away with the Scottish Championship.
I know he's not been here long but the vigor and passion you normally get with a new manager never arrived. That's the most concerning thing. Results aside.

The new manager bounce is generally a myth. I know little about Jose and he has not been here long enough to judged. The team he inheriheted is poor and unlike the start of the season the players now know this too. If we stay up it's a massive achievement. If we go down it's nothing more than what was expected given the squad we assembled.

Sorry but being Mourinho's bag man doesn't convince me he can manage a team in the Championship. What has Jose done in over three weeks playing some of the weakest performing teams in the league to convince you that he knows what he is doing. One up at Hull then tries to hang on to the lead. Believe really just doesnt cut it. He was proud of our performance last night. Sorry but if he was happy with that level of tempo then I repeat the above. You could have done no worse.

Im not sure you can blame the manager for the players lack of effort , surely that comes from within . Saying that they seem to be going thru the motions at the minute , it's so frustrating because if we get relegated the players won't give a **** cos they'll be off playing for another club anyway . Its us the fans who are stuck with the **** .

So you are unhappy that we were leading in a game and the coach wanted us to hold onto that lead? What a mad fool.

For the record I do understand the point you are making, and i wasn't at hull so can't comment on the game.

I just look at the wider situation. We have a very poor squad, we don't win many games. We didn't under Hecky, a new guy has come in, he has changed the formation and personnel, we still have a poor squad. We still don't win many games. I think the two may be connected

you only have to look at Mouriniho's historical method of play to know he doesn't favour high temp or attacking formations. Ask Man Utd fans how they feel about him. I'm certain our JM shares the same philosophy, why else would he continue to hire him.

I wanted Ross as well and agree with what you say. Jose has no relationship with the fans and has not inspired the team in anyway that can be seen on the pitch. Seems to be a by my way or the highway manager. I dont think he likes to be challenged.

    Moan moan moan....

Performances have improved no doubt... Disappointed we haven't picked up more points but I think Jose has done at least an average job as of now, especially looking at the time he has had with the team as well as the resources (quality of players). Ideally, assuming we stay up (not guaranteed by any means), Jose will be able to implement his own full philosophy on the team as well as bring some of his type of players into the squad. I feel that the formation and tactics we are seeing are more of a temporary way of playing as Jose will need much more time to implement all of his ideas. Main goal of this season is staying in this league, nothing more.

And not sure what people are rattling on about effort, I have seen plenty of effort in every game (maybe aside from Cavare vs. Boro)- if anything, all the players are all exhausted by the 75th minute.

i'm judging him on performance and if we go down, i'll be hoping to see a new man in for the start of the season.

Sorry, if like alot of people believe that our squad is lacking quality then to compete we have to press with a high tempo to force mistakes. Jose doesnt consider this as an option on last nights showing.

I hate comments like yours. Especially relating to ones like “ shocking levels of effort”. It’s a weak, immature, dishonest comment used when a team doesn’t win. If we had’ve taken one of our chances and come out victorious then I guarantee you wouldn’t have been on here saying anyone lacked effort.

Well if you noticed, Norwich from time to time tried to play goal kicks out to a wide defender, but we pressed them. So to suggest we never bothered pressing them is wrong.

Plus, did you not see how knackered quite a few of our players were, even after an hour?

You cannot play to a "high tempo" all match - it is not possible. So you have to be a bit discerning.

As it turned out, when Norwich brought on a bit of width and pace later on, we hardly coped. Partly due to being knackered.

So running about a lot is not the magic solution. Even though we did.

You can change shocking effort to lack of high tempo pressing. Which falls at the feet of the manager

I think we were too slow to shut up shop. We should have closed out the game by boosting midfield and giving the forwards a break. The other two points would have been precious given our present situation.

Might as well be romping away with the Evostik Premier.
