Seen mixed reactions on our new head coach. Personally I’ve been quite impressed. He’s brought in a new formation which probably suits our players better than the old 442. He speaks many languages which can only help. And above all else he’s really positive. Following on from his interview today I think we really need to stop complaining and just go with it!
I agree. But have results been that bad considering how poor the team is he has inherited? I’d argue only the burton game was a poor result
He’s full of ****, in his first few interviews going on about how good he thinks the squad is, and he is a very positive person, and that he thinks we have a squad capable of staying up, and so on, he can talk all he wants, but his tactics, game plan, team selection, and substitutes, suggest otherwise.
He should have come in with a positive attitude, if that’s what he’s claiming to have, what good is lying going to do ?.
Burton - I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, as he was only here 3-4 days. Brum - Won, so thumbs up. Hull - Would have been disappointed, but having seen their recent results, we got them at the wrong time. Cardiff - I didn't expect anything. Boro - I didn't expect anything. Norwich - Disappointed after the first half showing.
And against Hull. Now it's twice we've gone in front and defended too deep trying to shut shop far too early, instead of pushing for a second whilst on top. Happen once fair enough, happen twice not good. Let's hope it doesn't happen a third time.
Maybe he should’ve come in and slagged the players and called them *****? Let’s get that confidence up eh lads.
We could and probably should’ve had a couple more early in the second half so a bit unfair about shutting shop
Typical performance dominating a half and being outplayed for much of the other. On Saturday it would be nice to see a win, us to score more than once, to dominate a full game and to not see Gardner and Williams both starting with their terrible win percentage. Not asking for too much, I don't think.....
Why is he lying to them? He’s trying to make them believe in themselves. Paul Heckingbottom slagged em off week in week art and that didn’t work.
Not sure it’s lying to them. So you’re saying if he slagged them off publicly the players would then want to run through these brick walls for him?
