Just seen this headline and a load of angry tweets by sheff united fans regarding the 36£ price adults will be paying at Oakwell.
    I agree with them.
I really hope that the club, under it's new stewardship, will end this nonsense come next season.
Sod reciprical pricing (not sure how much we were charged at Bramhall Lane).
Who decides first on the pricing? Is it leeds or barnsley, or barnsley or wednesday or whoever?

We were charged £32 so we have charged them £4 more which once again proves our pricing isn't reciprocal

It is high , way too high but under 22 year olds can get a ticket for £10 & under 12"s can have one for a fiver , they are cheap & thats not getting mentioned

I don't disagree with the central point of this thread as I think £20's plenty but £4 extra is a small difference to charge for them to sit in a decent away end where the seats aren't cobbled on to an insufficiently tiered old terrace with only a Lee Johnson sized gap between rows, with a god awful view of the pitch, with some dee-dar Fritzl spitting down on you and a concrete block in front of you every dozen seats or so.

Think it’s another illustration of how much football is losing touch with its roots, way too much for your average working person to be paying

They ripped Barnsley fans off so now it's happening vice-versa. Don't give it if you can't take it

    Fans don't rip anyone off.
It's certain clubs that rip fans off and fans don't make that decision do they?

No. The fans didn't rip us off , the club did. Doesn't help me ripping their fans off. Football league should make clubs have a standard price as in the Prem league I believe. £20 cap. I don't understand the mentality of stuff their fans because we were stuffed.

This is true took my daughter when we won at the lane under Wilson cost me 16 quid for her pay on the day and that was 4 year ago I know I didn't have to pay it but like you say our tickets for u22s and children are resnoble in comparison.

Yeah but it doesn’t hurt you either... what this will do for next time is sheff Utd fans will whinge that they are being ripped off by us because they ripped us off. Sheff Utd will think twice next time because it hurts their fans as much as ours.

If Barnsley have the first game of the two next time (if we stay up)- then don’t rip them off and hopefully sheff Utd will follow suit

No they won’t. They won’t care. People who run football clubs don’t care who gets ripped off. Our pricing is shameful for the United match. They should boycott.

The way you worded this suggests you think we are more likely to be relegated than Sunderland. Christ.

Good point. Much better view. I'd gladly pay more for that.
