    My brothers lad knows family. My brother said Peter Kay has died. Not on internet so i dont know if its correct

    There was a few rumours doing the rounds on twitter that he’d got leukaemia but them folk were saying it was fake news, so hopefully it’s not true

    Don't like the man one bit but really not OK to go spreading rumours like this. Looks to be an online hoax from a look at twitter.

    Type in his name into Google and the block on the right says this...
    Peter John Kay was English comedian and actor. Kay has written, produced, and acted in several television and film projects, and authored three books. Kay passed away on March 15th 2018 after a short battle with Leukaemia at Christie Hospital in Manchester.
    Don't know if this is true or not. Can't imagine why it should say that but...... ???

    There were loads of rumours about his death weeks ago & then nothing & now they’re resurfacing. I hope there’s nothing behind it but the silence about the tour cancellation & the lack of public appearance suggest all isn’t well.

    The other Peter Kay’s death is not connected to these rumours at all, he died a couple of years ago

    He cancelled all his engagements for family reasons, which suggests it's someone close to him that's ill.

    Really? Every thread I’m on you seem to want to ask such a question. You’re on a wind up.

    If I’m wrong I am. Not sure that’s the case though I’ve no way of knowing. So if not, apologies.

    As for Peter Kay I think That Peter Kay Thing (particularly the pilot about the ice cream vans) and Phoenix Nights is his best work, and his stand up i guess.

    Max and paddy was crap, car share is good but not really his creation.

    For some reason all the major news websites have reran their story about him cancelling his tour in the last week. No new information at all but in the past two days they've all published new stories word for word identical to the stories they published back in December when he cancelled his tour.

    My favourite PK tale was the one about the Mobile Library. Ran over an unfortunate old man
    who was crossing the road and he was laid on the road, screaming in pain. Librarian got off the bus, put her
    finger to her lips and said " Sshs". Absolute classic.
