Writ large all over that game. Abject. Everyone seems resigned to it now. Although it is amazing that 13k still turn up when we serve that up and have won 3 times in 15 months.
Everything about the game was appalling today. We're not even in the bottom three so to play like we did today is completely unacceptable.
The thing that makes me think we are going down. Millwall had 2 shots on target in the first hour. One a gift and one a superb strike and we are 2 goals down. We had 7 on target and the keeper made saves, one from Moncur a really good save. When McBurnie finally beat him a last ditch off the line clearance did for us. We just can’t score even when we create good chances. And we always concede. That’s always a sign of a side going down
Totally agree. Luck goes against you at the bottom, that's why you are at the bottom. At the top you can do no wrong. Quite bizarre when you think about it.
We did our best to lose mallen puts a great assist which is a gift to them. Them pinnilos does the exact same 10 mins later and Morrison should put away but fails then the 2nd goal we let their man have the freedom of barnsley and line a shot up.
As poor as we were again today, and we were poor, a team, yet again has had 3 shots on target and scored twice. The strike rate for teams against us must be in the 90 odd percent for the season, it’s ridiculous, and that’s why we don’t and won’t win many games. Even if we played well we’d still concede a couple.
That’s not what I said Their keeper making good saves and defenders clearing off the line is good play by them. And the first goal was laughable. But the second goal I bet they don’t score many like that. The phrase you make your own luck springs to mind. We aren’t making any at the minute And don’t get me started on the rugby tackle on Moore in the box that the linesman decided Moore’s leg was dragging their defenders arms so it was their foul rather than a pen
Was my reply not to Mr Badger? Though neither of their goals were lucky. The first was a gift. The second was a superb curling strike. Neither was lucky.
