Pity, because I thought he was doing well up to then. His head definitely seemed to go down afterwards. Ironic given the number of times Williams gives the ball away..

I'm no Williams fan either like you say gives the ball away far too much. That pass from Malian was a suicide pass then 10 mins later pinnilos played Morrison in and should have been 2 their 2nd was a good goal but he had all the time in the world to line the shot up. Architects of our own downfall

Given he's usually sat on the bench...

Explains why he’s hardly played - just not at the required standard

Hes a bit of a Thiam for me, its hard to judge when he/Mallan doesnt get much game time but when he does get a chance like today, he does very little for us. We did sign him from Scotch relegation strugglers St Mirren though, lets not forget that.

Second half Yiadom controlled it, then passed it to their nippy winger to be straight through on goal - all winger had to do was put it past Townsend.

Far worse than Mallan. Who was good before he ballsed up. And bad thereafter.

Moncur came on to drive us forward, which Mallan does not do.

You can chuck the squad players names on to a scrabble board, and it will now spell relegation.

I just dont know why Thiam hasnt got a clue where the net is, even though hes been looking sharper and has been more active as part of this '3 up front'. I must admit hes not offered us much more than a Lg Two player who only cost a fraction of the million we spent on him.
But Mallan was signed for his goals as well wasnt he, both setting them up and scoring them and didnt we tell ourselves he was a whizz at set pieces.

Felt a bit for mallan being hooked at half time would have liked to have seen him given a chance to redeem himself. Think we need to judge him after a run of games plus he actually had a long range shot that was on target.

Its a strange one with mallan. You would think a good player in a pub league would look good in any pub team

I too thought Mallan was having a decent game upto that error. However, his and most of his team mates heads dropped alarmingly after that and confidence was shot throughout the entire team. There have been quite a few poor games this season at Oakwell, with some of the players losing confidence during games, but today the whole team seemed to lose it. I can’t help but wonder if Mallan hadn’t attempted that pass what might’ve been because Millwall were hardly looking like match winners up to that point

Just joking btw but on a serious note **** today not one player performed not one but I if I’m honest I don’t think our fans help as soon as we went 1 down the whole ground turned on the team there our team the team we support Ino it’s hard but we should get behind them you could see everyone’s head go down when we where on the players back I just think we could of played our part abit today and tried to lift them because they needed us today, but I understand they gave us nothing to shout about, also I think after today we all realise Williams is a miss when he dosent play his energy and the way he always wants the ball could of helped today maybe a rest will do him good and he will come back from international break the same player he was a few weeks back

Williams does give the ball away very often though he is right. Malian gave it away and it cost us today.

Hopefully in the summer someone is daft enough to take him back off our hands.
