Should we put out a rallying call to bring Hammill back in to the team, his enthusiasm could lift the fans and players and help get the points to keep us up.
I'm wanting now to go back to 442 Davies Mccarthy Jackson Pinnock Yiadom Hammill Gardner Moncur Isgrove Moore Mcburnie. Have some of that, last throw of the dice hope Jose reads this its a winner.
That's what I'd like to see. If we're going down I'd rather do it, having a go at teams, giving our strike force an actual chance of getting on the end of something. Trying to get something out of a game from being behind is just not working.
I'm resigned to the fact that any duo or trio combination of Gardner, Williams, Potts, Moncur, Mallan, Mowatt and McGeehan will never be anywhere near good enough a central midfield for this division and probably not for the one below either.
He did OK when he came on but I'm not fussed take your pick from Williams potts mallan moncur Pearson yiadom who ever.
Does anyone even know why Hammill has been frozen out? Granted, he's not as effective as maybe he once was, but he does draw players, and is definitely capable of putting good balls in for strikers who are good in the air. From what I've seen of Thiam, he's miles behind. How is Mahoney worthy of a place on the bench, and not Hammill? How did Hedges get a start a couple of weeks ago, and is now nowhere to be seen?
Need more than him to keep this rabble up,sorry but we can,t win at home we are as good as down, cannot see this guy motivating these players to battle our way out of it.
It's got to be the Burton game and training but now Jose is under a bit of pressure, the crowd are low it's written for hammill to return and inspire us to stay up then firmly securing BFC legendary status.
I heard he took the mick out of Morais. Jose likes quotes and one involved a cat with milk so Hammill kept meowing to him whenever they passed each other.
Agreed re Hammill. First time in ages we've got two big target men up front yet we no longer utilise wingers, preferring to shove Oliver and Mama out wide. This is all quite baffling.
I'd like to see Adam given a chance, what the hell have we got to lose? And at least he cares. Relegation beckons so anything is worth a try at this stage.
IF that's true, Morais needs to swallow his pride and get Hammill back in the squad pronto. It's all been said by others about Adam, he's got the enthusiasm and passion, and will put crosses over to good effect now we have Moore up front & McBurnie alongside. We can't really do worse.
