I sort of agree with you. Some of the recent team selections, substitutions and tactics have been baffling.

I don't think the players had much confidence to destroy though. They'd won 1 in 16 I think before Hecky left. I honestly believe no manager could have come in and done much better with this set of players. They're just not good enough.

Agree. I also think 3 teams are worse (or would be if we picked our strongest 11/ strongest formation)

What is this mythical strong enough 11 or formation?

Currently I'd go back to basics and with players in their natural positions.

Davies, flat back 4 with Lindsay and Jackson and Yiadom, and either McCarthy or Fryers

Centre Midfield is the problem as has been all season but I'd go Gardner plus one (not Potts).
Hammill McBurnie, Moore , plus either Isgrove or Hedges.

Would lose games but would also have a chance to win some (which is not an option with the current baffling set up)

If anyone can tell me what Thiam has done to be a regular, what anyone sees in Potts or why McBurnie is on the wing I'd be delighted to know.

Awww, no. I could never stop going.
We have to experience the lows to appreciate the highs.
    It will pass.
Agree it's pretty dire at the moment but honestly, I've seen far worse over the years.

So have I Tina, I just have less reasons to go. In some ways being in a lower division would be better as we'd (hopefully) have more wins. Anyway, it's not that I won't go. I just might not get a ST.

I could never stop going ever, as you say, you have to experience the lows to appreciate the highs but this manager makes me feel completely deflated and baffled.

Far worse than a record run of home games without a win?
I’ve seen worse but not sure I’d say Far worse. Today I lost hope of seeing us win again this season.

I obviously wasn't counting the record run of losses at home Dave.
Have to agree, I too don't believe we will win another game this season.
It's bad, but I keep thinking of Glyn Hodges for some reason !

I know EXACTLY what you mean J.
I hate to say this, I really do, but he gives me no confidence whatsoever, none at all.
I too am baffled by his tactics.
It's as if every bit of hope has been drained away.
It's obvious the Players feel it too.
