After witnessing that abject performance this afternoon I can't see any other outcome than the one you have predicted.
Straight shoot out between us and Birmingham City for me. We won't catch anyone else and I cannot see Burton or Sunderland getting much else points wise.
I completely agree with you that as things stand it appears to be us or Brum. However, unlikely as it may be, Sunderland and Burton only need 2 wins each and we are bottom. We are that bad at the moment that this being the final outcome is equally as likely as us scraping the points needed to survive.
In reality we probably going to need 3 wins from 8 games to stand a chance in my opinion. Bearing in mind we’ve won only 2 of our last 26 games it’s gonna take some doing.
And the 2 were against Sunderland and Birmingham. We don’t have any more really bad teams to play. Somehow need to beat Bristol in 2 weeks time but I can’t see it
Yup, and it's worrying that Birmingham have 3 goals in them. If Monk gets them on even a short run then we're fecked as we are. Reading are in trouble too, or should be, but we're just not capable of making up the ground. So much possession and attempts on goal in recent games, but so lacking quality where it matters.
2 wins in more than half a season!! We really don't deserve to stay up do we. Its remarkable when you look at that stat that we aren't even in the bottom 3, never mind already dead and buried.
If we can start being this battling Barnsley our media called us in the match report, we might stand a chance. I didn't see no battling today, but we aren't in the bottom three so it's still in our hands.
