I appreciate we don’t know what happens Monday to Friday but surely any manager coming into a team in a relegation battle would utilise every tool available to him in the fight, whether he likes the individual or not?

Unfortunately, Jose has expelled Hammill to the nether reaches of wherever and chose to place Isgrove to the bench and chosen to play Thiam. Before you all jump on me for my opinion, I’m all for giving people a chance but.

And it’s a big but, when plan A, B, or C fail then please change it

Over the past few games both I and people around me can clearly see that Thiam is either unfit, and, or not good enough therefore why not change him, he gives no protection to Yiadom behind him and can’t last longer than 30 minutes at a Championship standard

When we have players that can play at this level then use them, their experience to benefit the greater good which is staying in the Championship

I don't agree with you about Thiam but I do with the rest of your post.

Mallan has to come off, his head had gone

And let’s be reight, Paul Heckingbottom wasn’t adverse to freezing players out!

Surely Morais needs more than 6 games to develop his plan? We are in the ***** but he’s not solely responsible for that.

We will never know what would have happened under Paul Heckingbottom now. He ran away.

I agree he's not solely responsible & he still has an imbalanced, poor squad to play with. I'm also not suggesting he should be sacked, however, early signs aren't exactly positive and I'm more convinced than ever we'll be relegated (pretty difficult considering I've thought we were odds on since July...)

I remember you feeling equally low and indignant when Wilson was sacked off. You were wrong then, hopefully you’re wrong now.

I always remember LJ saying similar things as PH in terms of him not getting what he needed - not having any players who could play out wide meaning he was hamstrung. Then we signed genuine width and we were transformed.

It took another managerial departure to “get it right” though didn’t it as his replacement was a joke.

I get that as now we have strikers presumably suited to playing in a 2 and we now drop the wingers

But if we are honest, Hammill looks finished despite his great work ethic, Isgrove has done little and Mohoney, well I can’t say owt as he’s done nowt.

Morais surely has the same issues they had

He'll be working in the same system, no doubt.

Hammill has looked poor but I can't help feeling someone with his workrate & experience can only help a side as young as ours.
