We seem to identify our own players unless we listened to agents in Jan because we were desperate for players
So agents had nowt to do with Winnal ,Hourihane ,Watkins going ? Or was it because we wouldn’t agree to £30,000 a week the agents were allowed to negotiate behind everybody’s back and allegedly advising players not to sign .theyr killing the game imo
The is the first time I've ever thought we have a manager who has absolutely no idea what he's doing. As in you could pick anyone out of the crowd and they could do a job equally as bad. He's ******* clueless. I'd sack him now. He's an abomination.
Yes. Reading away, for one. ******* gutless ******** they were, all night long. First day of the season, too. We could have been 7-0 down at half-time.
And you know this by ? Or should we have offered any price to keep them to their agents . Funny how many posts you’ve critisedagents in past threads and now defend them . Any agendas there ?
By the fact that Patrick cryne and Conor hourihane both said so. Please quote where I defended an agent
No one is defending agents. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. We could have offered players contracts in May 16. Before those players could command those wages. At the least it would have got us more money when they were sold.
You’ve gone off on this tangent following this post Where does criticised come into it? Where does any of your tangent come into it? I was suggesting we maybe did listen to agents in Jan because of the desperate situation - in which case we have been diddled.
I don't buy this January thing. The reason New City Capital bought us was because of the work done in the way we identify players statistically. Now unless we smashed up the PC on December 20th how come January signings would be rushed? Surely we had a long list of targets we'd identified and it was then Jud's job to go and get them based on whatever budget was released?
