Agree we have a decent L1 side in the making. With the new owners & the "plan" relegation has to be a disaster.

Yes, but apart from all that we're OK. Where's your sense of perspective, man. Don't hear much talk of Barnsley DNA these days.

That's because we don't play Barnsley players anymore. Now we play anyone elses kids so we don't have to play Barnsley players

This side would piss League 1, Moncur and Moore flourished at that level and we're also in a better position financially.

If we are not good enough - how come we are dominating opponents for long periods of time - like we did against Norwich and Millwall?
It’s plain to see when our players are one on one with an opponent that we are easily good enough.

It’s also plain to see that some of our players - especially McBurnie - are playing out of the position they have played in all their lives.
    So don’t blame the players.

If we would have started with all the players we have now at the beginning of the season - and playing the 4-4-2 tactics Hecky wanted to play - we would be top half of the table by now.

As I said in the summer - we didn’t bring enough striker options in - and because of that Hecky was limited in what tactics he could employ.
And this was obvious from the very start - from the Forest and Ipswich home games you could see that we would struggle until the transfer window opened again in January.

You keep saying it but it doesn’t make it right!

We didn’t play 442 because we don’t have a central midfield two capable of playing

I'd be interested to hear you think doesn't care (allegedly). You don't seem to know. Back up your argument. It's a fair and simple question.

Hecky said we didn’t have the midfielders to play 4-4-2, don’t recall him saying that was his preferred formation. Also, Leeds currently don’t play 4-4-2

I’ve seen many posts on this thread saying we’d “smash” etc league 1. I couldn’t disagree more, just like last time we were relegated we’d struggle. And it would be even worse to watch than it is now.

My take on this midfield thing is that Hecky thought we were not solid enough to only have four players in midfield - hence he mostly went 4-5-1. Yet Jose is attemting to set us up with only three. So to repeat the title of this, we are not good enough. We are in a desperate situation. Yes - we are not in the bottom three yet but anyone who has witnessed the last two home games will feel that it is only a matter of time. My desperation solution would be to push Yiadom and Cavare into midfield. We need to get some solidity and protection for the defence from somewhere before we can think about winning a game or two. The old regime have let a good Championship squad slip through our fingers. The new one has either failed to spot the rot or declined to address it. The head coach is a Rolls Royce chauffeur being asked to drive a steamroller. Apart from that I'm very positive about the future.

So you don't understand the words "be", "you" or "to"? You must be even dafter than I thought.

There's an apostrophe on "didnt" by the way. I assume you meant "didn't"? Or maybe that's another word you don't understand?

I would argue that Davies is the ‘ worst kicker of the ball’. Have you forgotten Steele? A great shot stopper but a poor kicker.

The current coach would be the biggest unknown in league one.

The table doesn't lie, we're in a 'Championship football next year' position.
If the team can realise that, we can look forward to another season in the Championship. There's all to play for. It's in our own hands.
