And let's go 3-5-2 or 4-5-1, depending on who we're playing.

The current midfield aren't hacking it. These two lads can at least play a bit, and we have plenty of full backs. Difficult to see what else we can do at present to mix it up a bit.

Be better than continuing to surrender meekly.

He had a dodgy last 20 mins but made at least one goal saving tackle.

Plus the system means that all attempt to get forward were form his side. We avoid the left cos Pinilos can’t run

Would play 4-4-2 and try to stick to basics . Leave mcburnie and Moore upfront , two wingers. And keep it simple . Mcburnie on left wing or left back is no good . Only positive at moment is we’re still creating chances

The only problem is I don’t think we have anyone good enough to do a job as the ‘10’in a 3-5-2.

    Davies
    Jackson Pinnock Lindsay
    Cavare Potts Williams Yiadom
    ?
    Moore McBurnie

Is that Knasmullner’s best position? Maybe try him.

I'd just pick the names out of a hat. It doesn't really matter who plays where, the result will be the same.

Not a bad shout that system, worth a go.Although I would probably give Mcarthy a go instead of Cavare ( too many fouls in him) The ? Could be filled by Moncur who impressed so well in that role at Colchester, or maybe even alternate McBurnie and Bradshaw. during the game. Or stick Thiam there. That formation is certainly worth a start.

Didn't really know where to put this and it didn't really warrant a new thread, but I've just realised that we didn't pick up a single booking yesterday. Now I don't want us to start running around kicking people, but it would have been nice for someone to try and get stuck in and give the crowd a lift.

Usually when a side is losing, there's some hothead who loses his discipline. We didn't even make a tackle.

Speaking of bookings, has the deadline passed for bookings to discounted for suspensions for this season. If that’s so, wonder if Williams really has a back injury as e was 1 booking away from a suspension?

I have yet to see what others see in Cavare. He lacks concentration to be a good footballer. Didn't rate him when he trialled for Huddersfield. Poor defender.

I'd like to see Yiadom in midfield, he's had a couple of games where he's moved into midfield after subs.

I was actually thinking this watching the game, I would play Yiadom in centre midfield, we've got no quality in there, he's only player who can actually start things happening,
