It was terrible yesterday. Crap weather , poor display and poor tactics. We all have different ideas on formations, players, tactics, managers etc. But at the end of the day we have these players and manager for the foeseeable future. All we can do as supporters is get behind the team and manager and see how it goes....... At least then as supporters we can say we did OUR best. ,
As a supporter I can't do anything apart from decide whether I attend or not. Anyone moaning is fully justified.
People have got behind the team by purchasing season tickets and match tickets. They are entitled to express disappointment with what they see.
I agree we need to continue supporting them, but I don't know if it's going to help us stay up. 13,000 turned up and got rewarded with that performance yesterday. 11,000+ Have turned up consistently and been rewarded with 3 wins in the previous 28 home league games. We've averaged over 1,000 away from home in that time and endured mainly poor performances and results. We're doing our bit. The team haven't been doing theirs.
I was silent at the match. I’m surprised no one had a go at Morais like they did against Hecky in his final matches. As for criticism - although comments are made for other BBS users to read - I hope that Morais or backroom staff reads this message board and listen to what is being said.
I’ve been adamant all season that we’ll stop up but I’m really not sure anymore. We are very poor and can’t get a result. The teams below us can’t keep being very poor too (as seen by Birmingham yesterday). Hopefully I’m just a bit downbeat from yesterday’s result and weather.
Yes we are. Like others Ive been optimistic until now but winnable games keep coming and going without being won, and I really dont think there are enough left to save us. Everybody else is doing their best to be even worse than us but they wont be able to help themselves picking up the few points theyll need to take them past us. Its a foregone conclusion for me now, and I'm a supporter - yes supporter - of 56 seasons.
Up to yesterday i felt we might escape relegation but now too i am not so sure. Can't see where another win will come from. But one never knows, perhaps Bristol City. But hoping other team's results go for us is not the answer. Maybe a fortnight working on the training ground might just be what is needed because a game every Saturday and Tuesday hasn't been good for us.
This is another aspect which reminds me of 2001/02. Rotherham did their best to go down. They didn't win in their last 10 games, but we couldn't catch them.
I am labelled as a Happy Clapper & I always stand firm behind the club but I have already accepted we are going down , hope I am wrong & will be very disappointed if we do, but what will be will be , its not life threatening & when we kick off in August I will be taking up my usual seat in the west stand & we start all over again
After we’ve beaten Bristol this weekend, we’ll go an a mini run of 7 points out of 9. You can take that to the bank
We're just 'lucky' that the are a number of really poor teams this season or we'd already be sunk - this time last year we'd have been second bottom and nine points (eight plus one for goal difference) from safety.
It's the manner of the defeat for me. The last game I went to was Fulham, where we showed some fight and purpose before the Cavare sending off. We seem to have gone backwards on the evidence of yesterday. Scarcely any confidence, desire or ability on show. One point this week from two of the best chances we had left of recording a win.
