another completely pointless purchase, we should have been after players to come in and add straight to the first team in areas we need fixing
Knasmüllner’s record in the Austrian Bundesliga was excellent. He was and remains to be well worth the punt at a mere €500k.
Having a punt is fine. Having another punt when you already have 10-15 punts in development and who plays in a position you don’t pick and you lack quality in all areas seems daft to me.
I think the point of the OP was not that he might not come good later. But we were and are in the middle of a relegation battle, we needed someone who could come in and make a difference. Not a gamble on someone who might take 6-12 months to get up to speed.
No point even supportin em if got no faith even Sunderland or burton fans aint going on like this sayin div1 nxt season and a few points behind us av faith 1 win will eventually come and will get a few more

1. The few that were thinking that were thinking that 4 weeks ago, not now. 2. We've won 2 out of our last 26. 46 points would require us to win 4 of our last 8. Have you seen anything to make you believe we can do that? I admire your blind faith, I wish I had as much.
Yeah that was a month ago. They've played 5 games since then and haven't won any of them. I think anyone that thinks they're going to get 46 points will win a free straight jacket.
Nice to have a joiner on board. Do you think you could make us a goalkeeper out of 4x2 and plywood please?
I've never understood why nearly every player we sign needs X amount of months to get up to speed, you don't see it at other clubs new signs go straight into side but not us and also what speed are they getting up to because we are hardly flying when they join
Every player doesn't, McBurnie went straight in. I guess the reason most of ours do is thay we get them from much lower levels than other clubs.
