Today's game has been called off due to weather and Neil Warnock is calling it a disgrace.
Derby admitted earlier in week they have a Injury crisis and Warnock thinks this has a part to play in the game being called off

I strongly suspect he is right. We have had a bit of snow but jeez, its not bad. Any game could be on today if the home club wanted it to be.

It's much worse here now than it was when our game was called off.

He's right of course, but one of the many reasons I can't take to Colin is ............ it's exactly the same shithouse tactic he would use without batting an eyelid.

Same Warnock who after seeing 3 blunts players sent off in one game vs West Brom wanted players to fake injury in order to get a game abandoned.

He is right and I suspect had Derby been desperate to play they could have - I drove back from Tarn yesterday afternoon and there would have been no problems at Derby to play - but I guess the idea of people travelling from Cardiff through Amber snow warnings may have had some bearing. But as everyone else has pointed out Colin would have done exactly the same in their situation

100% tactical postponement. Rowett has been bemoaning their injury crisis all week & only had 10 players training on Friday. Said they had U23s on the bench last weekend and, following more injuries, would have U16s this weekend. No Huddlestone, Ledley, Vydra etc - nothing to fear then.

Our bus picked up from the top of our valley and, believe me, not many places get more snow than the top end of the Rhondda. It wasn’t great until we got past Cardiff but then next to nothing.

Around 8ish, tweets were flying around from Derbyshire Police saying that the game was definitely on and that there were no issues in and around the stadium. Several fans had gone up on the Saturday & were posting photos, including from inside the stadium somehow - no problems at all. Pitch looked awesome.

Within 10 mins we had a message that it had been called off - due to snow. Derby then revised that to a frozen pitch. Next excuse, again from DCFC was that staff couldn’t get in and after consultations with the Police and SAG, postponed the fixture. Referee, Police, Cardiff weren’t consulted at all.

We turned around just before the Severn Bridge, livid. Ah well, off to our local Wetherspoons then. Every cloud & that.

Warnock & the players then rock up to the stadium & take everyone by surprise. He does an interview live on Sky with the perfect condition pitch in the background. They’d got in from some rural hotel with no problems.

We then get shown tweets where the Club Shop is saying that they’re open despite the cancellation and everything is fine. Then the same from the pub trying to get people in for Sunday lunch. No staff issues there apparently. These were swiftly deleted.

It later transpires that our CEO Ken Choo was told by his Derby counterpart that some of their fans wouldn’t get their cars off the drive and they wouldn’t get the capacity crowd they were hoping for! Wonder if we can use the same “reason” if we’re struggling for a side and there’s snow/wind/rain in the outlying valley areas.

Their stories have changed so many times it’s unreal. Oh, and Derbyshire Police have subsequently given a statement to say that the decision to postpone was taken by DCFC and that they had nothing to do with it.

They now want to shoehorn the fixture in giving us 3 away games on the spin in one week. Not great for the players - and certainly not for the travelling fans.

Derby are clearly at it imo & I hope that the EFL follow their guidelines and punish them accordingly if they’re found guilty. Middlesbrough were deducted 3 points for similar in years gone by. But I’m not holding my breathe...

I agree - clearly nothing to do with the weather. Derby have had everyone for mugs but don't hold your breath on any punishment Bluebird.

So much evidence - but agree that nothing will be done. Gutless.

Whatever the punishment, it wouldn’t affect us. We’re virtually guaranteed a play-off place at least. But if I were a supporter of someone in & around Derbys’ position (Boro, Bristol City, PNE, Millwall), I’d certainly want the authorities to take appropriate action as Derby are clearly trying to give themselves an advantage.

Would be terrible if such a heinous act cost Cardiff promotion.

Oh, no, what am I saying? What I mean is: "It would be side-splittingly funny."
