Regardless of Birmingham’s run-in, I just cannot see where a win is gonna come from for us. Keep the faith but i think it is futile.
Our fans are absolutely ridiculous. As for where our next win will come from- we were a couple of minutes away from beating a strong play off contender yesterday.
If only we didn’t have a manager that will try and hang on to a lead no matter how much time is left to go.
He didn’t do that! In any case had he brought Bradshaw on to chase shadows and Bristol STILL scored he would still have been pillocked for not bringing a defender on. Players not doing their jobs are to blame.
If we can stay within 3 of brum after next 2 games. They have bolton away and burton at home we have a fair chance. As i said there last 5 are hard and we are over due a win should of beat brizzle and norwich at home and maybe got a draw at cardiff
where's the wins coming? now one win in our last 17 home games, absolutely abysmal, away teams love coming to oakwell, can't see us winning anything at home away trips left - forest - won last year so not due now for another decade ipswich - one win there in last 20 years leeds - one win there in last 20 years derby - one win there in last 25 years
Definitely an attacking move to take a forward off and draft in a second right back who then watches his man pass him for the equaliser. Everyone we go a goal up we try and defend it whether that is on instruction from the HC or just the team freezing up Nd lacking confidence I don’t know. The messages that come from the bench in terms of substitutions suggest it’s from the HC.
More than likely go down but one win coukd change everything. We can win all our remaining games. We wont but all winnable if we can start putting our chances away
So not beating a far superior team with a lot to play for means we’re relegated? Before the game folks were giving it “if we don’t get thrashed I’ll be amazed, I’ll be happy with a loss where we show fight” we get a good point and very nearly all 3 and still everyone is throwing a hissy fit.
I know your question wasn't aimed at me but I thought I'd answer it anyway. I don't know how the season will pan out. Neither does anyone else. However, I hope there's nobody at Oakwell who thinks we're already down, with 7 games to go. 21 points to play for. Why not wait until May before passing judgement?
The fact we dominated a game, scored two for the first time in ages and still contrived to chuck away the points (literally, cheers Davo) makes me think this team isn't capable of winning, therefore yes, we're more than likely going down. We don't win when we're poor, we don't win when we're average, we don't win when we play well. Sorry, other than in 2 games in the last 27.
I do not accept that when we took the lead for the second time we sat back , you have to consider that Bristol were equally as desperate as us for a result & when losing with a few minutes to go they would throw the kitchen sink at us , if we were capable of controlling games like some fans are suggesting we should then quite frankly we would not be in the trouble we are , why cannot people accept that we are a poor team & poor teams do not control games for 90 minutes
Like you say nobody knows how the season will finish but I wouldn't call people absolutely ridiculous for having an opinion that we look like we're going down.
