Just a bit of a game really. Look at the names in the poll, chosen at random, and pick which one you think would give us the best chance of staying up if he were to take over right now from Morais. Post why you went wi 'im.

I'd go with Fergy. Good blend of intelligence and brute force discipline.

Warnock is the best at that, but I'm not even sure he could rescue us, given the number of games left and the prevailing mood at the club.

No manager can give you that. It's the 11 on the pitch at the time.

If Warnock had come in when Hecky left we would have stayed up. That's a compliment to him not a dig at the current incumbent

    'Prevailing mood at the club??'

Well our last performance against Bristol would have been good enough to secure the points in most of the fixtures we have left. They got a freak goal during injury time otherwise we had that match won deservedly. So the performance doesn't reflect bad things behind the scenes, just people sh%t stirring.

Warnock. He's got the ability to get the best out of bang average players.

Brian Clough. But he has the unfortunate situation of having passed away. So Warnock

Nobody. The players aren’t good enough and aren’t interested in improving.

Warnock. No brainer. McCarthy would be another. Don't think many top flight managers could do a lot with most of our players in the short term.

Sorry, 'around the club' would have been better. I saw the Bristol game and yes, they gave it a right go, so there was no sense of doom from those players. I just mean the current direction of the club...can't buy a win even when playing well.....fans arguing with each other.....'challenging' team selections and rotations. We're on a trajectory that might prove too much even for a proven rescue-merchant like Warnock

Colin for me. He always brings a lot of passion to any appointment. BFC means summat to him.

McCarthy would have been our best option in my opinion.

I agree they aren't good enough. What makes you think they aren't interested in improving?

Warnock or Roy Hodgeson. Big Sam another decent shout. But we haven’t got any of them so it’s irrelevant
