watching Shrewsbury and Lincoln. Plenty of effort but the football by both teams is not very good
If we go down even our team will be far too good for theses lads

I'm sure that's what Ipswich and Burnley thought when they played Lincoln last season in the cup!

In seriousness though over the course of the season we should have enough about us to bounce straight back if the worst was to happen.

Look at Rotherham. Dreadful last year. If we were to go down I reckon we'd walk it.

Far cry to from our final with Oxford. Very little quality or attempts on goal.

Spoke to a Mk Dons fan who thought Blackburn had a poor defence and were lucky to win. Alan Armstrong and Bradley Dack their best 2 players. Well done Lincoln.

Two average sides as far as I was concerned. Goalie cost the Shrews the goal and in truth, they
should have been awarded a penalty. No need for us to be concerned, because we won't be
playing either of those teams next season. However, Stoke, Huddersfield and West Brom will be
prove to be a much sterner tests for us.

I'm presuming Shrewsbury had an off day, for them to be beaten by a team in the league below them, considering they've only lost 7 league games all season.

Southampton more likely than Hudersfield. to be playing us next season.

If there was ever an incentive to stay in the Championship, that game this afternoon was it. Very poor football

Just basing my guess on their respective remaining fixtures:

Southampton have Bournemouth, Man City and Chelsea at home.
Chelsea, Leicester, Everton and Swansea away.

Huddersfield play Watford, Everton and Arsenal at home and have to play
Man City and Chelsea away. For me, Town will struggle to get many more points
whereas Saints will fancy playing Bournemouth, Leicester and Swansea. Just my thoughts.

With 3 points for a win it can turn around quickly. Not sure Southampton are playing well enough were thumped 4-1 at West Ham and have a FA Cup semi final as well.
2 tough away games for Huddersfield and a poor goal differance but dont think Southampton will find life easy at Leicester and Swansea and Bournemouth is a local derby. Southampton have been selling their best players for a while.
