1-0 up and you manage to **** it up! Won't be long until you're looking for another job in League 1 or 2!

Its 50-50 if he'll be there next season, according to a Leeds mate, who is well connected.

I don't give a **** either way, as long as we beat them at Bell End Road

Perhaps you should stop this bizarre obsession with a long gone manager. Who left us to better a better life for his family.
Something we all should aspire to.

Get a grip. It’s been about 2 months, if you don’t care about it ignore the threads. It’s still a relevant event of this current season that is worth talking about.
Perhaps people like yourself should forget your “bizarre” obsession with the financial well-being of Paul Heckingbottom and his family and appreciate the japes are a natural part of football rivalry and part of what makes the game entertaining.

No obsession with Hecky pal, just those that claim he is some sort of magician when he's an average manager.

Well OK I certainly have grasped by now that you consider him an average manager.

Which in itself is not necessarily so much worth remarking upon, but if you have felt the need so far to remind everyone yet again, then fair enough.

Will it bear repeating every time Leeds lose?

Not unless it is an obsessive need to gloat. Which is not the most attractive of characteristics.

Not sure being patronizing is an endearing characteristic either.

Anyway I'll try and be good if you do too.

It’s a bit of a poser this one, it’s hard not to laugh at Leeds without appearing to have a go at Hecky, whatever you think of him

As I have said before - if anyone wants to have a go at Hecky as a manager (as opposed to his over-slimey departure) then show the posts they made about how crap he was before he left.

There were a few - only a precious few - on here.

OngoingCloud was the only full on one that sticks out to me.

An incrementally better life surely? He was hardly on the bloody breadline with us was he?!

Because you can only have one rigid opinion and if you change it as time progresses you’re a hypocrite? Let’s be reyt, if any manager went to Leeds, Wednesday, sheff united and did as bad as he has I’d enjoy reading about it every loss, the fact it’s him makes it even more enjoyable. Don’t like it? It can’t be that difficult (though you do seem to struggle) to avoid clicking the thread. HTH

    Not true.

I said ‘I think we would have a few more points around Hull’s total’. Never said would, I said think.

I don’t know if Barnsley fans understand how football works but managers have different levels of success at different clubs. It might be tough to grasp for some people but if Hecky loses every game at Leeds it doesn’t mean he didn’t do a good job at Barnsley.

I won't mention him again in the short term. If he turns it around and gets them challenging for the play offs next season then fair play to him.

Putting all my other comments about him aside and in hindsight given how quickly Leeds do get rid of managers it probably isn't fair to fully judge his credentials there. We will only truly know over the medium/long term whether or not he is any good although I don't think having Jamie Clapham as assistant is helping him.

I honestly don't give **** about the Leeds lovely person. Just want the 3 points from Bell End Road.
He'll be sacked by them at some point & probably go & take Sunderland to L2, before deciding to set up a yoga retreat.

No, true. It's hardly like he was living in communist Europe was he.
But if someone offers you 30k a week rather than 6k then turning it down makes you either a mug or some bleeding heart socialist.

    Or both.

    You're not thus a hypocrite.

You're thus a smartarse wise-after-the-event know it all.

I don't mind basking in a Leeds or even a Hecky loss.

I mind those who now say Hecky was no good as a manager, when before he left they did not.
