    If he doesn’t get a new deal I will be extremely gutted. Hoping he does enough from now till end of the season for José to want to keep him.

    Even if it leads to working with the youth players, cant think of a better example of someone who has been through it all...... From the petulant kid to the model pro, hes got alot to offer still and has a genuine affinity with the club. Hes the last of our legends still playing with the club, once he's gone we dont have anyone left. Lets hope he stays and we can show our appreciation to a player that gives his all, and has given us some genuinely great moments

    Yes I agree with all that stuff about Hammill, he cares about us as a club and I hope we keep him on beyond this season whether we go down or not.

    It's important to have a player like Hammill within the club who understands the fans, the history and the club because he can still get the fans and players up for the fight.

    Agree with all of the above. We have the money now to be able to put a little sentiment above practicality and Adam is a talisman at the club and among the fans as far as I can see.

    If Hammill isn't going to get game time he will probably want to leave. Time is no longer on his side. Just hope if it goes that way then when he retires if he wants it a job at the club is available for him.
