He asked for proof of Russian involvement.... Rather than wade straight in like all our top dogs, they still cant prove anything. Still dont like the bloke or any other politician for that matter. Agree about the brexit issue though.
The corbynistas having a field day again ? And just for a change let’s mention the daily mail ffs . I’m an ex miner dad ? Miner two grandads ? Miners , three uncles ? Miners so that means I have to vote labour right ? You couldn’t be more wrong , can’t stand what the labour party has turned into . And as far as promises are concerned good owd jezza can promise what the fook he likes cos he’ll never be PM thank god . Labour Party the party of the workshy lame legs and feckless !
And schools And roads (before anyone starts on Road Tax, it hasn't existed for years - you pay vehicle excise duty on your vehicle which doesn't go to pay for the roads) And ....
So, let me get this right Scoff - are you saying that everyone would pay tax on everything they earn at the same rate? - so a doctor or banker earning say 100k would pay the same tax rate as a dustbin man earning say 18k ? - is that what you are proposing here?
Scared shitless ha ha ha joke more like even more so than Bozza whom at least provides entertainment.
I had trouble trying to read that nontheless here's a sun article ..even nick griffter is supporting Labour.. he sez https://ww w.thesun.co.uk/news/6015934/ex-bnp-leader-nick-griffin-endorses-jeremy-corbyn-for-refusing-to-blame-assad-for-chemical-attack-in-syria/
I am saying that everyone pays tax at x% on every £1 they earn. A dustman would pay x% tax on his pay (Say 20% of £30k = £6k per year), the doctor would pay x% tax on his pay (@ 20% of £100k = £20k per year). A CEO earning £1.5m would pay tax at x% on that (£1.5m @ 20% = 300k). Maybe scrap NI and increase those to 30%. At the same time, a company earning £1bn per year would pay y% on the taxable amount (companies have non-taxable expenses). Obviously I don't have enough info to work out the exact %, but it would certainly simplify things and stop a lot of tax avoidance. It gives everybody the same choice. Sit at home and have a basic living, or do something, contribute equally towards society and get a better standard of life.
Wonder if he's costed it as carefully as his attempted student loan bribe, as in we can pay for that easily , err no wait a minute! Sorry folk might be looking it as an eco thing but up to TWENTY FIVE, let the fkers get a job and pay their way, it really gets me all this lets give this that and another away eroding the benefit of working! Support for the vulnerable, elderlv and disabled is being eroded and weakened at every bend and twist through lack of funds and he suggest chucking money at this this Handouts for the needy but, everybody!
How would getting a free bus somewhere erode the benefit of working? If anything, it incentivises young people to be more likely to find work as they don't have the excuse/worry about travelling further from home for employment. What's more, it would give young people a little more money in their pocket to spend on services and save to get onto the housing ladder - thus boosting the economy. People go on and on about 'free' stuff costing someone. But similarly, we are now a service industry in which the economy relies on the stimulus of commerce through people having disposable wealth to spend on goods and services - shopping, the cinema, the footy etc. If the hoarding of wealth/greed by the super rich is redressed and the remainder of us have more to spend, the economy in general will be healthier.
Super rich, aye, not your average working folk over 25 then? Oh and road tax receipts that tax that apparently doesn't generate enough spare cash to mend the roads.
Agree with everyone contributing towards society but - Not sure if a dustbin man would agree with paying the same amount of tax as a doctor or banker -
Exactly, the super rich and not average working folk. The wealth accrued by the top 5% of earners in the UK comprises of 40% of the entire wealth in the nation. Slightly more rigorous systems here and with transactions within the financial sector means average working folk over 25 will have an easier lot as well as those under 25. It'd pay for those pesky potholes as well ya know.
he's not paying the same amount of tax - he paying the same proportion of his pay i.e. working the same proportion of his time - once he's earned his minimum living allowance. I'm not sure this is unfair - and for those of us on PAYE it's roughly pretty much ds what happens today. We all get to earn 11,000 ish tax free. (debate on whether this is enough to live on but that's not the issue) Then for every penny you earn over that 45 to 50% of your time is working to help everyone else. The fact that doctors earn more means they pay more in cash terms - and spend more time working "for everyone else" But it seems fairer than most systems and its' easy to explain why it's fair. I can't for the life of my work out why it's fair for rich people to pay more than poor people for the same pair of shoes. - it might be pragmatic when it comes to public services but I'm not sure how it's fair.
