Thanks for that whitey. Is that from the turnstiles opening to kick off or are there others mixed in?

Also could you ask them to sort out the fanfare, it's played far far too early and it's the wrong version. Kills any atmosphere before it even starts. If they're unsure tell them to watch old videos from when the pre-match entertainment was decent

Ps I actually quite like the current selection of music (most of it) but a lot of our older fans don't like it so it puts them off and I would imagine a lot of our young fans won't like music from the 70s and 80s either. I suppose you can't win really

I know it’s fan chosen but it is exactly as you say. There were at least a few modern and upbeat songs this week though. Fanfare caught me out on Saturday too, I’d just made the husband stand up then realised that it wasn’t the right one or the right time.

I never realised we were quite so popular amongst the gay community.

Nice little in joke playing True Faith at full time after that performance.

Good news!! We have a list of songs by male bands from the previous century again with one up to date male band making an appearance. Well over half of those songs are over 20 years old with two of them from the '70s.

We hardly ever play female songs at Oakwell. If every home play list was put into a male/female percentage, the female percent would be very low.

I like Oasis don’t get me wrong, but they want banning from being played at Oakwell! It’s every game! Have a bit of variety ffs!

I agree. Keep the best band ever off the play list for a change. So many of the biggest songs of this year have been female artists, but if you aren't a male from the last century, you're lucky if you get to hear it. We don't do modern music.
