Sorry lads I caught the post button early on My opinion for you all that was left hanging is the this Barnsley team is crap I am not blinkered like a lot and I have been there in the past I thought I was coming to see the new Messiah as to what this new coach was bringing to the team Bitterly disappointed .
Absolutely bang on assessment, Mr Homer. In the last three home games you could not fault the effort of this team. But the fact is they simply are not good enough and are unable to hold their concentration for 90 minutes. The Head Coach at some point will look an absolute genius - but it may not be with us. The bare facts are that protecting a 1-0 lead, when a midfield player needed replacing he did so with an attacker. While he struck lucky with that tack last week, this week was a chance roll of the dice too far. We now have too much to do given the nature of the fixtures remaining. And as has been said before (many times by me) our plight is self-inflicted.
Just have to hope it’s going to be more about what’s needed to build a competent and competitive squad as opposed to proving folks right.
Which midfielder from the bench would have brought on for an injured Potts? Bolton were on top, he tried to change it up, it didn’t work Get James in charge ASAP
Which is a meaningless truism. As is the fact that almost all of his goals have come from him being in the centre. Today we missed the opportunity to get at the sh!ttest part of a **** defence with our most dangerous player and therefore couldn't beat at home the team that are one place above the relegation zone.
Isgrove/Hedges/ Mahoney were all available. But for me I'd have brought on Cavare and adjusted so that either he or Yiadom was pushed up into midfield to try and shore things up. Buggered if I understand your last comment.
Nope, we played 4-2-3-1 at Ipswich for a bit and then changed to an indeterminate shape which confused players and onlookers alike. I'm sure Swansea know where his best position is and they're fcukin bewildered that he's playing on the left wing.
Do you think he just strolls into the center because he feels like it?or a coincidence? Or maybee He is instructed to. You should apply for next managers job. Today highlighted why we play 433 moore has to be at the center of this to play 442 we are to weak in the center of midfield.
So you think they are bewildered that he has netted 8 times for us , we must be doing something right , perhaps they might learn from us on how to get the best out of him
He goes in the CENTRE because he has a goalscorer's instinct, which is wasted covering Fryers' inadequacies. The rest of your reply is just random free-flowing ****** bingo statements strapped together. The best passage of play we've come up with in ages was when we went 4-4-2 against Sheff Utd at 2-1 down.
Are you sure you can read? I'll say it again, slowly - they are bewildered he's playing on the left wing. And I don't think, I know they are, having sat next to his father at Hull.
Your opinion of course, if you couldn't see our problems were in center midfield after we went 442 today especially as Potts went off. Like I said he has scored 7 goals from that position in a 443.
Mallan has shown more for us than your apparent beloved absentees McGeehan and Mowatt. Admittedly the cupboard is bare with Williams unavailable.
Yep, he's scored 7 goals all from wide left positions in a 4-4-3 - ffs, no point arguing with someone who can't count. And there was nothing wrong with centre of midfield that taking Moncur off after 20 minutes wouldn't have cured. Absolutely my opinion and nothing you've said has even had me thinking of changing it.
Taking moncur off for whom? We have a shortage of center midfielders let' hope Potts is okay. But okay your right im wrong. Sithi
