How many ******* times, eh? Why are the authorities so blinkered towards those *****. I wondered if they'd made their way to Barnsley afterwards, given the number of riot coppers lined up under the underpass. Can't remember seeing as many at a game for a long time.
50 year old cockney slobs throwing bricks at 10 year old girls while SYP did nothing according to a bloke that rang up Radio Deedar.
Hiding in Barnsley out of the way of where the real issue was going to be. Anyone hear the bloke on praise or grumble who’s granddaughter took a coin to the eye? 12 yr old. Another one is traumatised to the point she doesn’t want to go anymore. We all love the rivalry with sheff Utd but I think we can all agree the Millwall ‘fans’ are a breed of their own. No doubt they’ll be innocent again, like they were at Wembley two years in a row, at Rotherham the other year. Like donny town centre that they tore to pieces in front of my eyes (and the eyes of the police who did completely nothing) a few seasons back. Animals. I hope they get into the premier league to be honest. They’ll finally be shown for what they are for one, and I think a trip to Anfield, West Ham, even old Trafford, might be a little bit of a lesson for them.
Milking the overtime in barnsley. Total police overkill for the massive Bolton while millwall run riot down the road syp are a joke.
A really enlightened Bolton fan on the train back to Sheffield told me that Millwall supporters are just like anyone else's. So there we go. Jahst misanderstad, they are.
Walking from town to the ground I saw coppers near the underpass who were armed. Gun toting cops for Barnsley vs Bolton. What the **** is that about? Heard the bloke on P&G whose granddaughter took a coin in the eye. Unreal. So SYP make us move our game to an earlier slot then let the game against the blunts go ahead a couple of weeks later at 3pm and they kick off. Who's in charge of this shambles? Edit: did they ko at 3pm? Dont know now. Edit again: No they didnt
Talking to police outside Oakwell. They had come from the Sheffield match. When asked if there was any trouble - they said this - bit of handbags but nothing really - Millwall turned up to cause trouble but Sheffield fans didn’t respond.
Asssuming that actually happened. What about the pro darts player (Darren Webster) that got head butted. Resulting in a broken nose, after the Sheff Utd game last week. Apparently by some Barnsley fan. https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/dart...asked-are-you-a-sheffield-supporter-1-9104989
Blades I've heard from were positive about Millwall fans. Minimal trouble and SYP overkill. They were more vocal about shelf utd fans looking for trouble. Massive police presence for our game. Saw some trouble under the bridge before the game but nothing else of note. Not sure why we have lockdown every other Saturday, despite a few young lads there's seldom any real threat from Barnsley fans at home games.
Before the game about 14-50 under the bridge it was carnage, and only about 8 coppers there and they couldn’t cope with the Bolton fans who had clearly come for trouble good numbers faces covered and having a good go at starting trouble, after the game it was clear they’d drafted in the riot squad from bum hole lane to avoid a repeat.
I walked through Tarn today and was just behind that lot. The police almost lost it. Barnsley fans just walked down the side got in front and those amongst them that were looking for trouble just waited for the Bolton lot to practically walk into them. Only the use of dogs prevented a full on confrontation. Bolton were just stood on an island in the road surrounded by police and Barnsley fans. Don’t know why Police didn’t get Bolton fans to walk down the left side then they could’ve guided them up Queens Road towards the Metrodome and down through the away Car Park.
That video doesn’t show the position of the Barnsley fans and how close they were to a coming together
