We have got less points than everyone other than Sunderland after Burton’s win yesterday. A harsh statistic.

We were above Bolton in form table yesturday so I don't think that will have changed. How many points did we pick up in November and December not many! One win against sunderland
Not really a fan of Morais but I don't think anyone could get much out of our squad at Championship level. Poor recruitment last summer is what's cost us. If the McBurnie deal had gone through on August 31st then we'd probably have survived.
I mean we should be looking at the bigger picture and how bad we have been since we started dismantling the squad and filling it with tripe.
Yes we beat sunderland on 1st of Jan but before that hadn't won scince 4 of November almost 2 months.
You can argue back and forth about the merits or otherwise of Morais' performance. He's taken over a squad devoid of confidence and quality in certain areas. However, he's certainly not done anything startling as yet and he's been here long enough now to surely ensure the whole team is fit enough to last 90 minutes of football. We'll get a better idea of his qualities as a coach next season but, for now, nothing has happened to convince me that his incredibly average managerial record elsewhere is a precursor to glory at Oakwell.
No clean sheet in 9 games and let in 2 in 4 of our last 5 games. If we keep having to score three times to get three points, we aren't staying up. Our centre halfs are overated, especially Lindsay. We need to play Pinnock at Leeds.
If the best defence is that Hecky was equally ***** that’s no defence at all. He should be judged on his own merits against our competitors. We have a better team than Bolton or Burton. We failed to beat either. We have slipped 2 places in terms of League position and got less points than anyone other than Sunderland since he took over ( 1 win one see them overtake us). We have become more fluid, better to watch and more entertaining is relegation a price worth paying for that. Whataboutery is not helpful here.
The lack of clean sheets is nothing new and is a consequence of being more attacking. I agree re centre halves
No point in having double standards of critsism though. Can't make every excuse under sun for hecky who went almost 2 months with out a win and God knows how long without scoring from open play. But then jose is **** with the same team.
