Don’t have to touch him it was intent do you think if it was mcburnie on pratley that it would still have been a yellow
Makes you wonder why the referee booked him then doesn't it Either he headbutted him and it's a red card or mcburnie dove and it's a yellow to him and nothing to their player. The reg wasn't looking, **** his pants and thought 'eyup summats happened here, I'll book them both and thatll do'. Its terrible refereeing
My point is about giving players/team a chance before writing them off before a ball is even kicked. Over the years, I’ve seen plenty of players deemed as poor signings and being written off by some fans. Then turned out to have a good or decent season. At least any opinions I have formed, negative or otherwise, are based over a good chunk of the season. As I’ve already posted my hope ( now) is that they are 3 worse teams than us, and I believe that is nowhere near beyond the realms of possibility.#believe.
Moore has missed a glorious chance in all our last three matches, which has cost us more points. Had he taken his simple headers against Blunts, Ipswich and Bolton, we wouldn't have to be so reliable on the ref not being ****.
Don't get this.. they'll automatically be better next season bit.. I give you McDonald for a start. Davies worse this year. Yids better last season also. Moncur at best stood still..and Bradders no better No guarantee any player will perform better season on season.. believing players must always improve is just not true.
We should see an improvement as a team if not individually, the problem last year was a full new team all making a big step up all at the same time, that shouldn't be the case next season. It's common sense that they will be better for that even if only a bit better. Other things can affect progression like having a settled coaching staff and which players leave and who comes in. I think moncur has improved, Bradshaw would gave benefited first half of the season playing alongside a Moore type player, he may have bagged 20+ then and Davies for years hasn't had any competition if he had we may now have been looking at a top keeper as we all thought he had potential. Small margins but hope we stay up and see how done of these players perform next season.
Caused in part by having too many centre mids, all with slightly different attributes (although sadly the one thing they all have in common is that none of them are Championship quality). Result is that we spent too many games tinkering with the starting eleven, while hoping to hit upon a winning combination.
At least the " I told you they wern"t good enough " brigade are having their moment in the sun , should we drop, which is looking ever more likely , then they will be able to make hay all summer.
This is a key assumption of the plan, that all players need is “time”. It is based upon a flawed assessment of what made the Houriane batch a success.
