The players fitness levels should have been addressed during pre season under the previous coaching team, how you can hold Morrais responsible for this element is beyond me. What is he suppose to do at this stage of the season when they're blowing out of their arses after 60 minutes? He has to go with what he's got. It seems some people will blame him for everything....
Yes from me.If he goes try for Chris Coleman that experienced coach who's had months in charge and got relegated today. Its not always about the coach/manager especially one who's been here 2 minutes.
He’s got to get a chance to show what he can do with players that haven’t been signed before he was appointed surely? I think he’ll be staying regardless of what happens in the next couple of weeks.
Don't really care more interested in the quality of player we bring in next season, even if that is in league one.
If he keeps us up yes, if we go down no, but not because I think it’s his fault - but because perversely I think he would find it tougher in league 1 than in the championship.
My thoughts too, as above, but I've been disappointed with his performances so far, remain unconvinced..
He's not added any value. No for me. He has (in my opinion) at least once sent out onto the pitch our best chance of a win. But bleating on about "belief" all the time doesn't cut the mustard. There have been games there for the taking. And his team haven't taken them,
Please explain where I said we were? I was addressing another poster who was blaming Morrais for the players lack of fitness. If we go down I probably would want a change in coach/manager but to start blaming him for everything (which appears some on here are) is just ridiculous.
Well it doesn't help matters does it? Knowing we didn't have the quality to compete i'd have expected fitness to be a another key area to work on but clearly it wasn't. We could have gone into games with the mindset of you may have more quality than us but you won't outrun us, you won't oufight us and we will scrap for everything until the full time whistle blows. You may be think its acceptable that professional footballers in the 2nd tier of English football can last 60 minutes before they're blowing out of their arses, I don't.
He’s proved that he doesn’t understand lower leagues. The players are clearly confused in what he is trying to achieve. However - this manager was brought in for a long term building project - which IMO largely involves bringing in young foreign players. So as disappointing as he’s been - he may at some point come good. It definitely looks like he’s going to cost us relegation. JURY STILL OUT
