It might not work but what we've got now isn't working and at least with Mick McCarthy we will go down with a fight not a wimper like now
And bounce straight back up. He would give the players the kick and organisation they needed if we have any hope what so ever. It won’t happen. From either side. Too much pride to stick with their choice. And mick wouldn’t want a relegation with us.
No thanks. I saw the Wednesday match where he filled his pants at the prospect of attacking and going for the win. Plus his results with U-23’s are garbage I don’t think the players don’t understand anything. They simply aren’t good enough often enough
So pay off the present manager, get a new one in at added cost and go down anyway. I take it you don't run a business.
The U23s have been like trial matches most of this season, with no consistent reserve squad to pick from. It will all come out I’m sure once Morais has gone. And that day can’t come soon enough for me. But each to their own. You’re backing him & I really hope the players can somehow pull something out of the bag these last 3 games. Even our worst managers in our history I have backed for a season. I like to try and be positive and have accused of being one of the happy clap brigade. I can’t muster that with this current set up. Both coaches and those higher up. My only hope is the owners act quickly.
According to Nixon ( I know) he might. TBH I’m coming round to the idea he would be a great idea. Not because he’s ‘ one of our own’ ( although that’s a bonus) but because he wouldn’t put up with any **** and would get us organised properly. Basically he knows the English game and knows what what he’s doing
I think you'll find the phrase much used in business circles is speculate to accumulate, stick with what we've got and we are down and from what I've seen and heard from the clown we'll not be coming back up anytime soon with him in charge woeful bit of recruitment beaten only by some shocking player recruitment over the last 18 months
Birmingham did it a few seasons back got shut and got rednapp in for last 3 games wom 2 of them and kept them up. I had little faith in hecky but would of happily seen him see the season out because of previous achievements. I have no faith in jose after that diabolical starting 11 on Saturday we had lost before a ball was kicked. I'd love mick it would be win win for him to come. but right now I'd probley even take flicker for the last 3 with him chest pumps its' got that desparate
what's toxic is the acceptance of whatever the club have done for the last 18 months without question by a certain vocal section of fans who attempt to shout down any alternative view. If you can defend JM after the shocking team selections he's made while here often dropping players who've played well the game before even changing things after rare victories then your more deluded than the rest whilst he can't be blamed for the squad he can be blamed for how he's utilised it and that's been shocking.
