We aren’t ******. We’re in League 1. We build. We support. We go again. We can now all judge the owners as they have a blank canvas. Barnsley have been around for 130 years. We may all enjoy a season in league 1.
Time to spend some cash on quality not waste it on more medicre dross or its a double relegation on the cards. This lot will be utter ***** in league 1 too.
To be fair, I don't think a season or two in L1 will phase the owners. They're here for the long haul.
They thought Morais was the man to keep us up, season pass prices were good enough and that we didn't need a may pricing structure so got shut of it. Look at Huddersfield with their forward thinking owner who lowered season pass cost, split the away end so his own fans could have a specific singing section and got promoted on a budget of peanuts.
I'm starting to think that the new owners are just a front for The Spanish Inquisition. That's the only explanation for the torture I've endured tonight.
Sometimes you've got to reach the bottom before you can go up - Huddersfield spent 8 seasons in League One before being promoted in 2011/12.
Would have made sense at 150 quid a season pass for division three football. But at the prices next season will cost, I don't see the point in spliting the north stand when we will already have more than enough empty seats in our usual home ends.
