It also takes a lot for owners to admit they were wrong, and in doing that they have to come forward and say so and sack the man as well.
I just cant see it happening Im afraid, but i like the idea of us adding a clause in case of relegation.

As for saying yes or no to the names of possible new coaches, can anybody give any reasons as to why they think this ?.

Those who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it. Last time we lost our championship quality players and replaced them with league one cloggers we survived an extra season only thanks to flickers miracle run. The previous regime made the same mistake again but this time it's taken us one less season to get found out.

Can't see us returning to the championship with Jose Morais to be honest.

    Exactly.
Some of the comments about the new owners I find absolutely bewildering.

It’s like me and thee buying a vintage car that needs a new gearbox.
But instead of us cracking on and changing the gearbox - some folk on here think we are going to park it on the drive and just stare at it.

It’s frustrating but life goes on

There’s plenty of things worse in life than watching your team play league one football and who knows we might have a few more enjoyable Saturday evenings next year!

It’s something beyond my control so I’m going to try and not let it get to me.

There have been plenty of mistakes but remember it was always an uphill struggle because money quite often determines league position. The club has also been hugely unfortunate with Patrick’s passing, but not as unfortunate as him and his family. There’s lots more to life than football.

The good news is we have a bit more money now (I’m terms of spending power in the league) or at least we should have. If we do let’s hope it is spent wisely.

I do not have confidence in the CEO or the manager to do that and I think they should be removed with immediate effect.

I agree. We need a complete change of management staff.

    Totally agree.

How old is the CEO? 29,30?

In the main, why don't the big multi national companies have CEO's of that age?Simple, they lack the experience. I know a lot of younger people may argue the point, but a smart bloke who has been round the block a time or two, will always outsmart an equally smart bloke who is just cutting his teeth.

I think the CEO showed his naivety with morais' appointment, looking at the morhino connection, rather than his managerial record.

Time to find more experienced men, for both positions.

    From Wiki....Remember this anyone???....
"Three years of excuses and it's still crap ... ta-ra Fergie." was displayed at Old Trafford, and many journalists and supporters called for Ferguson to be sacked. Ferguson later described December 1989 as "the darkest period [he had] ever suffered in the game", as United ended the decade just outside the relegation zone"

Fickle fans have alway existed. Most managers these days are only several consecutive losses away from the sack. Obviously the concensus is the guy is tinkering and looks lost but you have to counter that with the fact he has had few games in charge and the squad is simply not good enough to compete at Championship level.
Viewed dispassionately from afar, many posters on here are like weather cocks (with emphasis on 'cocks') as the extreme mood swings are results driven. A few consecutive wins and the manager is the new Messiah and a few consecutive losses later the same manager is "utter sh*te" , Hecky being the latest example.
All that said, I am not comèparing Jose to Alex Ferguson, and not being able to attend matches I have to defer to those on here that do. Nevertheless, IMHO, some on here should refrain from posting immediately after the match given they are, understandably, 'venting' in the heat of the moment albeit after spending hard earned money.
I think part of the reason is modern fans pay high ticket prices much which funds superstar lifetsyles to many very mediocre players in all teams who earn more in a month than many people earn in several years so they have a right to be judgemental. When I started watching pro football (Barnsley) in the 70s many players wages were not that inflated (most relied on testimonials to start a new career when they gave up football), Nor were ticket prices high (I could afford as a schoolboy to attend solely on pocket money). If the team were Cr*p on the day you just though 'fu*k it,chalked it off until the next match in the hope it would be better.

And playing staff. Problem is that most of them will only be 1 year into a 3 year contract.

So we need to sack the coach and backroom staff, all CEO and all other backroom staff. Plus most of the players.

    Right.

I still don't get why you think McCall is hopeless, didn't he manage Bradford to 2 successive play off seasons ?. Now if thats hopeless, then what does that make our very own Morais!.

And as for us winning more matches in the lower league and enjoying footy and Satdy nights again.. yes I hope that as well. But we thought the same when this happened 4 years ago and that just didn't happen straight away did it under Wilson.

He couldn't even get Rangers promoted to the Scottish top division.

40000 rabid fans and the pick of half the best players in Scotland, and he still couldn't do it.

Men against boys, and he demonstrably failed.

Useless. Then six defeats in a row with Bradford in the league we're soon to be joining.

    Corner-shop mentality if we appoint him. He's not even a has-been, he's a never-was.

You might be right there about what he did or didn't do at Rangers.
But Im more interested in his experience and knowledge of our very own Lg One, and surely thats more relevant to us.

His most recent experience is being sacked for losing six games in a row, having earlier failed to do what we did as he lost to fahhhhhhkiiiiingggg Miwwo in a play-off final.

I thought they should have won that Final though against Millwall.
Graham Alexander has been mentioned as well, and didn't he & Scunny also lose to Millwall in those same play offs.

There are no positives from going down. The ultimate aim is to compete and thrive in the championship. If we were to stay up we get a free chance at getting it right next season. If we go down then we have to fight our way out of that division again and it's never easy to do it.
