been a few suggestions at what will happen if we go behind ,toxic atmosphere etc. NO doubt the players will be nervous and a bit out of sorts . Whatever happens we must remember we’re supprters and give them backing . Obviously if we’re 3-0 down with five mins to go they can’t expect owt else although I personally wont be baying and will just leave them to it . But while er there is a chance we must do our bit as supporters we must get behind them ,they’re all we’ve got let’s not write history prematurely and start baying for blood let’s do our job then when the whistle blows and it’s mathematically certain we’re down at least we’ve done our jobs even if some haven’t
I will do my part if they do theirs and give 100 percent. I pay part of their wages so have every rifht to let them know how I feel.
I don't want to get in to an argument just state a fact and I realise your comment says let them know how I feel but just because we pay to go to watch BFC it does not give you or anybody any right at all to shout abuse at another person if you want to boo the team as a whole I have no problem with that don't agree with it but that's your right. At the Leeds and Forest games some of the individual vile comments shouted at our players from people in or crowd not fans made me feel sick. No-one has the right to verbally abuse another person and at the end of the day they just are not good enough we have to accept it and start again next season.
There's definitely a line which shouldn't be crossed. But shouting at Tom Kennedy, as an example "Tha's w**k!", I have no problem with. Are you espiring to an atmosphere of polite clapping and a shrug and a smile when your seeing some utter bobbins being dished up?
I totally agree I would never verbally abuse anyone. However, I do feel I have the right as a paying customer to let them know if I think they are not 'pulling their weight'. Lets not forget they are all earning over £6k a week suppoorted by us the paying customer. They are also sportmen who have chosen to put themselves forward to play a sport in front of a paying crowd. Therefore, if they can accept the praise they also need to be able to accept the criticism.
As always I will clap and shout - jump up and down - add the occasional referee expletive and linesman go to Specsavers stuff - cheer even - sit down and be quiet when Grandson tells me to shut up - and enjoy the day like always - It's a family day out with the brood - and after its its all over win or lose will look forward to next season - Accrington or Leeds - to us it's a religion - and reckon we've had some cracking times over the years - maybe this year not too many and maybe this set up ain't got it sorted yet but we ain't down yet !!!
I'm taking my brothers girlfriend to the match tomorrow.. It's her first ever Barnsley game. I'm hoping she is good luck for us!
The same as you pay part of a police officers wages or the prime minister or the royal family, do you shout abusive language at them
Tell you what, we also pay nurses wages let's all go scream obscenities at them too if they make a mistake.
