I presume moaning about lack of investment in Jan to cement a promotion push? Bit silly if so, I know promotion chances don't come along every season, but at least he hasn't lost key players , so will have a chance to build again next year.

    He’s a huge drama queen.

A few weeks ago when they lost (but were only 3 points off the play offs) he said they were out of it.

The game at Oakwell he was up out of his box at everything.

I know it’s tight up there but I didn’t realise they’d fell as far down as they have. Mid table mediocrity for the blunts hahaha

Yeah - we wouldn't possibly stand for mid-table mediocrity would we?

Nah we had that boring end to the season last year. Much more exciting staying up on the last day of the season.

N.B. it was actually a dig at Sheff U who were going to get automatic at the start of the season and ****** up, then going to get in the play offs a few months ago and ****** up again only to finish mid table.

Hecky mark 2, as a caller pointed out. Gobsmacked that he said so much, wouldn't surprise me if that's it for him after that.

He might be Sheffield United through and through but the guys a good manager and is ambitious. If he feels the Utd board's ambitions don't match his own then I have no doubt he would walk. And Utd would regret it big style. He's done wonders for them.

He must be the easiest interview ever.

Just ask him a question and go mow the lawn, and he'll still be talking when you come back in.

    Boring self interested individual.

And what did I say earlier in the week ??? !!!!

And as usual I got the usual numb skull thick fookers berating my post.

The buying power of our new owners could attract someone like him.
Be a fantastic appointment if we did.

Buying power they might have, but will they spend on players and wages?

Modest investment is what they talked about when they took over.

    That’s right ...... modest investment.
    But what is ‘modest investment’???

Personally I wouldn’t want a Wolves scenario - but that might be considered a moderate investment by these owners.

What I hope to see is exciting young players - majority of them from abroad- coming into the club.
These probably costing more than what the previous young uns have cost the club.
But I wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water - I’d keep vast majority of this squad.
We have some good players here.
