Every one of those lads gave everything for the cause today. A great win over Play Off hopefuls. For all their intricate approach play, our back four were solid, with Lindsay & Pinnock playing like whatever the plural of colossus is!:D A clean sheet, too, for young Walton. Hammill showed why the fans love him and deservedly awarded MOTM.
If we still go down, at least we have ended the home season with the sort of display we all clamour to see.

well it is certainly in our hands again. I do not see Burton beating Preston next as they are still in the Play-off mix, as are Derby so its a huge ask for us too. The Fly in the ointment is Bolton against Forest. Forest are on the beach and could easily give some of their fringe players or kids a run out. Just hope today has fired our lot up suitably to pull it off.... Also I would not be overly upset if Burton managed it too and Birmingham lost and went down.

A similar scoreline to last Tuesday for Forest would do me just fine.:D

I’d love it if both us and Burton won leaving Bolton and Birmingham to drop but the important fact is us staying up.

That was a great innovation especially with Mahoney doing so well on the wing. There wasn't a weak link today. Even Fryers had a good game. That was the best team performance at home all season. It's a pity it's come so late but we need to do the same at Derby next week. I now expect us to stay up if only because Preston and Fulham also need to win.

Just ask Count Arthur Strong.... he had the same problem with his Egypological Society lecture. On the one side was one colossus and on the other was another colossus.
    Easy.

Brilliant team performance. So good to see battling Barnsley in action. We have a chance to survive now but must go for a win at Derby and not change this team or play for a draw. Proud of the lads today.

I tried to help by googling Colossus, but botched the spelling and got this instead. Not quite what you were after, but strangely apt if you had to describe the sensation of following The Reds. Enjoy the ride!

having watched the clip I thought the views from the top looks familier so I googled it and I was right its in a place called soltau northern Germany and I was stationed there for 3.5 years in the mid 70's the reason I recognised the high views is I was in the air corp and used to fly in and out camp on a regular basis but that was before the park was built, its about 12 k's from Bergen/belsen and its where the ceasefire was signed in 1945 ( luneberger heide) ask any ex squaddie about winter soltau ( big training area and tank/arty ranges)
