Hecky has been dead man walking since about three games into his tenure there, which is probably a little unfair - but with Leeds he knew full well what he was getting himself into. Would be interesting to see where he goes next. My guess is to somewhere like Shrewsbury, if for example they stay down and Hurst gets poached. Can't see him being offered another job in the Championship with his record over the last 15 months.
Me neither. Obviously at the minute it's still a bit of a poisoned chalice, but if the new owners can get their house in order quickly it could be a good one for Hecky to go for.
Hecky to Sunderland Macca to Barnsley. I'd be happy with that. Of course it won't happen though... If we do stay up (1 in 3 chance in my opinion), I'd expect Jose to get a chance at building a squad for next season though.
Apparently some Sheffield United fans are bricking it that Wilder might go for the Sunderland job if he walks from them. They’ve just had a takeover with a bit of money to spend, he could build something good for the black cats.
Don't be fooled by the Sunderland takeover. He has thrown £10million.at Eastleigh and look where they are. The takeover has not actually been ratified yet plus they have 13 players out of contract and still have to pay Rodwell £43k a week for another year.
