Yep. 48% of 25% of the electorate.

This mayoral thing has really captured the mood.

They're getting Labour Brexit voters as well, Labour stood on a Brexit platform in the last election which they've now gone back on.

I've seen him around a couple of times, shouted "scab" at him because he's from Nottingham.

All just a ploy to channel more infrastructure investment to the larger cities.

The next thing I can see is council tax and housing rent going into a Yorkshire pot, Barnsley will get enough back to maintain basic services and housing maintenance while Leeds and Sheffield will get far more of it than their citizens have paid into it.

Still waiting for local election results.. Barnsley must be one of the slowest areas when it comes to vote counting. Always have to wait til next day befire they start to count and then it gets later and later. Candidates will be back up for re-election before they find out they have won soon haha.

I assumed 36 Chambers was being ironic

    Arent' they all counted centrally.

As no-body but labour wins anything round here' we're the last to be counted as it's decided already for the next 200 years given that no one has the imagination to vote for anyone other than the same party as the the fraudster their dad told them to vote for.

That's interesting .hadnt seen the 2nd round Labour green nhs and most who voted Yorks probably voted Labour in the second.
Tories English Dcrats Liberaldem some yorks probably voted Tory in 2nd...
Shows a Left wing v Right wing split...
Still we all know Tory Right wing voters always make double effort to vote ..left wing Labour working class apathetic kinda not as much..
