Let's hope he is or that's that's 900k down the swanny. I would just of liked him to get some game time after a bad injury either at league one or two level.

Jacob Brown - "There's a buzz around the ground every time he gets the ball"

Certainly had the better of old Carl Dickinson so far.

Feel like he needs game time to get back to where he was so it's disappointing he's not getting it at Scunthorpe. Maybe their new manager will change that!

    Today:

A good day for Jacob Brown as he helped Chesterfield to an impressive 3-1 win over Notts County to boost their survival hopes. He looked very lively on the ball and had two good chances to score late on so that bodes well for next season for him to play for us next season. Incidentally I think Dylan Mottley-Henry is injured for the rest of the season, unfortunately

Not such a good day for Alex Mowatt in Oxford United's 0-3 defeat to Portsmouth. He had the chance to equalise for them with a penalty in the 2nd half which hit the post, he then was provoked by a Portsmouth player, reacted and was sent off

    Today:

    League One:

Cameron McGeehan was an 86th minute substitute as Scunthorpe picked up a 1-1 draw at Oxford United (for whom Alex Mowatt was of course suspended) - it was a game they really should have won based on their 1st half performance however

    League Two:

Jacob Brown's Chesterfield's survival hopes were severely dented as they lost 1-2 at fellow strugglers Port Vale; Brown played 86 minutes

Jared Bird's Yeovil will have to wait again to play as their game at home to Forest Green was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch

    National League:

Shaun Tuton was a 62nd minute substitute as FC Halifax were beaten 0-2 at AFC Fylde

From what I can see the loan players we have out at the moment are not getting much game time, begs the question what is the point is having these players out there. What is McGeehan going to be learning while at Scunny and sat on bench. Might as well just have him on bench here with us.

Either these lads are not that good and we should look to get rid or they are not being given enough of a chance and we should have recalled.

I'm sure some will leave but we can't recall anyway during the loan. Brown and Bird in particular have been getting much more game time than they would have with us

    Yesterday:

    League One:

Alex Mowatt's Oxford loan spell concluded as he was an unused substitute in their 1-2 defeat to Blackburn

Cameron McGeehan started and played 59 minutes as Scunthorpe drew 1-1 with Bradford ahead of their play-off campaign

    League Two:

Jacob Brown started for Chesterfield in the final game of his loan spell. He played the full game but it was a miserable end to a miserable season for the Spireites as they lost 0-3 to Barnet who were also relegated due to Morecambe's draw

Finally Jared Bird also concluded his loan spell playing the full game as Yeovil concluded their season with a respectable 1-1 draw with Lincoln City, who got into the play-offs

Today Cameron McGeehan was a 75th minute substitute and he made a great impact off the bench: trailing 1-2 at the time in their League One Play-Off Semi-Final 1st leg to Rotherham, McGeehan looked very lively and then in the 88th minute popped up with a late equaliser to set up an intriguing 2nd leg on Wednesday!

Last one for the season as Cameron McGeehan ended his loan spell with Scunthorpe as they were unable to get into the League One play-off final; he was a 62nd minute substitute as they lost 0-2 to Rotherham
