On a par with Norwich 2002 that. I wish we had gone down weeks ago - why give us hope and then put in a "performance" like that. Derby declared at 4-0. It could easily have been 8.

At least Bolton and Burton gave it a go. Congratulations and good luck to Bolton. We didn't deserve to stay up.

I was going to rant some more but Morais going has taken the wind out of my sails somewhat because that was the minimum required outcome. But now I am just bloody annoyed with the club hierarchy for appointing him in the first place.

Right now though I will be home in half an hour and just thankful that this abortion of a season is, finally, over.

Beaten by a much better team with better players in every position. Not one of ours would get near the Derby squad.

It was utterly pathetic in every sense. The same as Forest away the other week. I don't know why they've turned up at home games recently only to completely bottle it away.

But, c'est la vie. Looking forward to next season already

Not even thinking that far ahead. I am going to spend tonight being irrationally bad tempered and then I am looking forward to several weeks of no bloody football. Perhaps I can get back to enjoying weekends again. Next season can chuffing wait - last thing on my mind.

Good luck with that when England are getting hyped up as the next Brazil or summat.

    Difference with that is

    a) I couldn't give a monkeys about the national side.

    b) when its on I'll be in Croatia so when they lose I can laugh heartily and sarcastically and then have another beer and get back to enjoying myself. :)

I can cope with losing. I expected that we would lose before kick off. What is inexcusable is to go with an absolute whimper. Zero effort or passion (other than Hammill) a dark dark day.

What really hurts and infuriates is how many opportunities we have had and spurned to get out of it. I have just looked at the final league table and its unbelievable - in 2013 Peterborough went down on 53 points - this year you have to go as far up as Forest to get that many points - a third of the way up the table!!. SEVEN clubs couldn't reach 50 points. How sh.t has the bottom half of this league been this year. And we STILL couldn't make it. Jesus wept.

Sunderland beat Wolves does that mean they have better players in every position then?

    Still probably will be.

Us or our opponents will probably have some Wales or Scotland u21s or full internationals from the likes of Canada, New Zealand or Cape Verde. Do you not remember the donny game a few years back being pulled at their request due to international callups?

Was at derby yesterday and the gulf in class was embarrassing at times and i don’t think derby got out of second gear. The defence were chasing shadows for most of the game and couldn’t handle the movement of the derby players. Gutted to see us relegated but looking at the possible strength of the championship next season it might be a blessing in disguise and hopefully we can come back stronger and be more competitive next time.
