I'd take Moore over Thiam on every objective comparison you could name.

Thiam has barley looked like a footballer in all the times I have seen play. Awful singing so far.

I'm not sure what Thiam actually is to be honest. He doesn't look like a natural striker and certainly has little goal scoring instinct, but neither does he look to have the pace or trickery to play out wide. He looks overweight, has a poor touch, no real strength or zest, nothing that stands out. From the very brief clips we saw of him when he signed, he looked quite nippy and skilful. Either he's regressed as a footballer or the French Ligue 2 is very poor.

He isn’t overweight - just well built and powerful. Not an inch of fat on the lad - seen him at the Metrodome.

He’s just adapting to the English game and way of life. If he remains with us, I think he’ll do well in League 1. Is he Championship quality? Not sure - he looked decent out wide as the season went on, but again, it’s his first season in England, so we shouldn’t have expected much in the first place.

I do think in League 1 he could cause some problems to teams. Same as Hammill will if he stays.

No. Keiffer will score goals for us. Proper centre fwd. Him and Bradshaw in a 442.

What does adapting to English game mean. Football's football wherever u play if u can't gel into a team and structure inside three months theres not much excuse after that never mind nine months.

The English game is more fast paced and physical when compared to other leagues. It takes players time to get used to it. Add to the fact you’re in your early 20s and living in a foreign country - of course it takes time.

Henry and Bergkamp didn’t set the Prem league on fire in their first season either. They did ok due to their natural ability - but it was their second season onwards when they really turned it on.

    That’s just how it is.

Definitely. Though from what I've seen he's missed quite a few sitters that you'd expect a striker to bury in any league! Fingers crossed our next manager will get the best out of him next season. Immensely frustrated and annoyed as I am right now about our completely self-inflicted demise, I'm sure that a lot of our players will be able to shine in League 1. Champions has to be our aim right from the outset, and I'd say it's a pretty realistic one.

The number of times I have to backspace and do it again when typing on the phone with fat finger syndrome - I have often wondered what it would look like if we had a thread where we had to post our first attempt and people had to work out what it meant. I guess this was the first go.
