That's a pretty pathetic argument. Manager signs players he wants, end of. Heckingbottom signed crap players, with the exception of McBurnie.
Thats not the way it works anymore. The manager is presented with options from the spread sheet no more or less. Unfortunately the spread sheet used in isolation has massive limitations as we have now seen.
How the fook is it GG’s fault ? The owners will have picked the new man and will make all the big decisions too . GG is an employee of the club and will do as the owners ask . He’s there to facilitate the owners wishes .
GeeGee Jury still out !!! I hope I can still say that ??? Said it last summer - most on here took offence to what I was saying then to the degree that I was banned off here. But again - my comments were totally justified and reinforced after listening to what Hecky had to say about Barnsley when we played Leeds - ie - “Barnsley were bang out of order saying they were supprised and disappointed when I left the club”.
Probably a collective like you say I would imagine he was the one doing the interviews and suggesting managers though.
In this article GG takes his share of the blame. Says the owners are still as committed and we will be bringing a replacement for Jose in pretty quickly. To my mind there's no point in recriminations, it's negative energy. Results have shown that unfortunately, we weren't good enough period. Lets all stick together and get behind the new Coach and his team when we kick off the new season come August. We have got some players who are ideally suited to League One. We just need to add some proven quality and I for one honestly think we should then be OK. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...iftly-in-replacing-axed-jose-morais-1-9152736
unfair criticsm hes getting. hes passionate for the club. stupid to think he as so much power at the club. he does not choose the players
stupid comment. hes been here a year. the damage was done way before that. letting contracts run down for one.
They are good with wine, cheese, mustard though. I admit the Renault Thiam hasn't got a great engine, although it does a better MPG than the Vauxhall Moncur,
Steering and braking is the main issue with the Potts. Agree though, absolutely great in a straight line.
