It can't be Steve Cotterill. Even after our mismanagement of the last two years or so we can't be that daft. I wouldn't let him manage the local pub teams' u6's reserve side.
I’d like us to get Warburton as well, but I think he ended up leaving Brentford due to owner going down the spreadsheet route...,
Darren moore would of been realistic before jose. Since then he has beaten man u and spurs and could keep west Brom in the premiership. No chance.
I love the way Martin Jol always appears on these lists. What possible reason is there to connect him with Barnsley?! Though I'd personally be very happy if he was on the real shortlist!
I’d be very surprised if it was a manager who had managed in the UK. IMO - expect another manager from the continent - that’s well known there but not over here. Also quite a high flier. Personally I’d have Hecky back. Hecky + Proper Funding = Success But I don’t think Hecky fits the international criteria that the owners are looking for.
Gary Bowyer... Done very well at Blackpool in extremely difficult sercumstanes. Would be in my top 5..
We might also get the "odd slice of luck" when it comes to penalty decisions! ( re coats -fetch mine for me while you are at it)
I would second this choice. I suggested him when Hecky left. We would still be in championship had we got him then. Surely wouldn’t take much to prise him from Blackpool
Chance for the new owners to send a message of intent with the new appointment. If we get a lower league, second-coming-of-Steve-Parkin then I know we can chalk **** on next season too.
