Hoyle has ploughed a substantial amount into them. Far more than you think. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....r-chairman-dean-hoyle-pumped-372m-8580536.amp
I don't think he will add to the capacity. He said in our local paper a few months back that the cost wouldn't be worth it. Basically it would cost millions to added a few thousand seats. They do so well in other ways such as the owner going on a charity bike ride every season with the fans, the work they do for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and having a town centre club shop in our Packhorse centre so fans don't have to go to the ground.
I think a lot of clubs these days - certainly higher up the leagues, are less reliant on crowd figures than they used to be for cash. It does help with support though and backing. I guess it’s more of a vanity thing at Hudds. At Oakwell it’d be different with the West Stand - as it would need doing eventually.
That's how you defend and play for your shirt with pride..... All three promoted sides staying up and Burnley in the Europa League. Shows it's not always down to bank accounts.
I think Gordon Owen has hit the nail on the head, Bring in an experienced Coach with a Good Track record ( B. Dortmund ? correct me if I am wrong) and a sound knowledge of the strong leagues in Europe. Where Good players for sensible fee's and wages can be found. It shows what can be done. I know its all a lottery when appointing new HC / Managers but it just shows what a bit of Teutonic Organisation can do with what may be deemed a weaker squad for the league?
