Not under any circumstances, before anyone suggests it.

No way would he come to Barnsley, but I'd have him in a heartbeat. Best of any of the proposed candidates so far.

However, get ready for another left field appointment with someone we've never heard of.

Maybe at the top level, but he'd do a job at L1 I'm sure of it.

I’d definitely have him at Oakwell. Doesn’t mince his words and would accept nothing less than 110% from the lads. Would definitely be a better option than Grayson.

Why would he be a better option than Grayson? Holloway has had three promotions in his career. Grayson has had four. Plus Holloway is at best....how can I put this.....erratic.

I think he's a ****, but he's a decent manager. Definitely better than either Grayson or Coleman.

Yeah he can be erratic but he’s still a good manager and Grayson’s last two jobs have been nothing short of a disaster. Wouldn’t be third time lucky with us so best to avoid IMO.

I'd have him in. Not sure he'd come back up North? Always put out teams with good commitment, and very honest (if a bit of a bell).

He minces his words then curries them before spewing them out in glorious technicolor.

    Quite entertaining.

Nobody worth his salt is going to agree to go to a club where the board decides which players to sign & he has no say in the matter.

    He’s the new Harry Redknapp.

I'd have had him up until his latest stint at Millwall, where despite a lot of things seeming to fit perfectly, he bombed big style. Not sure anyone could have done any better at QPR in fairness, but he doesn't appear to have that energy and nack of getting teams playing well anymore. I think it could be a risk, with better candidates out there.

If nothing else he is one of teh managers that Sky follow around blindly, regardless of results (Roy Keane being another) just to hear some of the drivel that he is known to spout. This alone will give us more TV coverage than we usually get!!

But he's just been sacked from a club he had to slash millions off the wage bill and use the free transfer market because the money has dried up with FFP and he had no say in that matter.

If he brings Scowen with him as his first signing, he can have our job.

Better tell that to all the managers in Europe then cos standard practice for the top teams to have a director of football who decides on players and coach just coaches.

Would I be entitled to a refund on my season ticket if we appointed this clown?
