    Abart 25 years back used to find em all the time when doing the muckshift in Rotherham for the new roads, just other side of their new ground.. infact we got so used to em.. we'd put em to one side until Friday dinner time, to stop the job... Then to the pub and have a bit longer weekend...

    Yes canal ran smack in front of Keel Pub, underneath road along back of what's now B & M you can still see canal wall and rings for mooring barges in car park then under Harbro Hills on to hole Mill and Stairfoot

    Used to play footy n allsorts darn there as a young in before the ASDA was built. We probably used that old WW2 bomb as one of the posh DIY goalposts at some point not realising it.

    I used to work up at Koyo bearings. About 10 years ago I was working there and some contractors found one at the back of the factory. They only closed half of the factory and left the other half working. Guess which half I was in? :confused:

    DRIED UP NOW IN PARTS, BUT IT USED TO RUN THROUGH WILLOW BANK BEHIND HONEYWELL PAST THE OLD PAPER MILL THEN CARRIES ON DARN THROUGH HOYLE MILL.
