Think Derby hit form again at just the right time, after their usual mid season collapse. Whereas Fulham were unbeaten in 23 games then lost at Birmingham to bottle automatic promotion, and I thought that might play on their minds I'm the play offs despite being by far the best team in the division bar Wolves.
This too. Awful support from them last Sunday, rather than cheer their own team decided to take the piss out of our misfortune all 2nd half, then left in their droves well before full time rather than clap their players after a successful season. Terrible fans who I had respect for previously.
1-0. Is the main stat. Shame. Wanted to see them get shown up after seeing the antics of some of their so called fans last week.
I remember them singing "we'll never play you again" in 13/14, which they wisely didn't this time around. Sure enough, they bottled the play offs that season and we beat them 2-0 a mere 2 and a half years later the next time we played them.
Long way to go yet. Derby have spent most of tonight defending. It'll take some effort to do that for another 90 minutes at Fulham. Hope Fulham beat them, although the 3rd place team often ends up empty handed. Like others have said, would be nice to see Doorby get a bit of karma for Sunday.
Scoring more than your opponent is the only thing that counts. I wouldn't be surprised to see Huddersfield want Cameron Jerome in the summer. I think he'd do alright in the top flight and it's surprising the Newsome lad has never played for his hometown club. Then again Rubens Noble Lazarus and Fraizer Campbell never did either.
You speak about Jerome as if he’s an up and coming youngster. He’s 31 and played about 8 full seasons in the Premier League
I dont really care its not as if we are playing the losers next season. I might have said Fulham but I have a mate who is a ST holder there and its bad enough having his sympathy for our relegation - if they go up he will be unbearable
