I think we all know some connected to the club read this site. So.. please tell the owners to bring in Mick McCarthy as manager! Give him the funds he needs and let him do his work and he will guide us straight back to the championship. The majority of the fan base will be happy with this appointment. This could also put bums on seats. Also, to improve fan match day experience put up a massive marquee at side of east stand with a big screen for early kick offs and selling alcoholic and soft drinks.

Better still build a facility like the one they’ve got at Notts County where we go when playing Forest away.

And done properly would be a more practical than the Exec Suite for hiring out for other functions.

I'd tell them to do what they can to buy the old grove street school site and build a facility there for a pre match pub/restaurant and conference centre. Maybe even a few hotel rooms.

Just ask Young Nudger, he’ll put your views forward at the next board meeting.

Well I hope they don’t employ someone just to please the fans.
I want to see someone that will not only deliver their vision but also put a structure into the club to give it a chance of delivering long term not keep lurching from one thing to another.

He's a championship level manager. He's not going to accept being a division three head coach. If he ever wanted to come back it would have happened by now.

Any out of work manager would have been appointed by Now surely? Otherwise we’re just wasting time.

My concern is we are in critical time for identifying or signing players. So we are either doing that with no managerial input (spreadsheets etc) or we aren’t doing any at all. Not sure which is more worrying.

Can we please just appoint a manager. Forget the head coach crap. Get a man who can build and shape a football club to get promoted and then stabilise and build in the championship.

If our board of directors think they know which players or positions should be signed, or can judge our squad better than the man who they will ultimately appoint and hold to account, then that strikes or either immense arrogance or incompetence. We will have learnt nothing from the farce of signing loads of numb r 10s.

My moneys staying in my pocket till I know Who's in charge what the budget is and what the aspiration is. Its not about the cost to me it's the attitude of the club in recent years to the fans. This season we didn't have to go down the decisions made by pc and new consortium in January contributed to this situation.

Not sure if Mick would be interested I think Craig Hignett would enjoy the challenge.
