Three of the current squad were signed from League 1 clubs:
Jason McCarthy who played 1 season with Walsall who finished 14th
George Moncur had two season with Colchester who finished 19th then 23rd and relegated
Tom Bradshaw had two seasons with Walsall who finished 14th and 3rd and two seasons with Shrewsbury who finished 16th then 23rd and relegated.

Adam Davies had two seasons with us finishing 11th and 6th (promoted).
Brad Potts was signed after a season in league 2 with Blackpool but played three full seasons in League 1. Two for Carlise who finished 17th then 22nd and relegated and one for Blackpool who finished 22nd and were relegated.
Keiffer Moore had a season with Yeovil who finished 24th and were relegated. He's also had half a season on loan at Rotherham who have gone on to make the play-offs.

Lloyd Isgrove had a short stint with Peterborough on loan in league 1 then a full season with us when he helped us to 6th and promotion.
Ryan Hedges had half a season on loan at Leyton Orient who were relegated.
Alex Mowatt has had a full season on loan at Oxford starting about half their matches and they finished 16th
Cameron McGeehan has had half a season predominantly on the bench with Scunny who have made the play-offs

We don't have a player on the books who has won automatic promotion from League 1. Closest is Bradshaw whose Walsall side finished 3rd, but he's also had two seasons of lower midtable and a relegation. Davies and Isgrove are the only two players to have won promotion and that was with us. Moore, Potts (twice), Moncur and Hedges have also suffered relegation along with Bradshaw.

The following have no experience of playing League 1 football:
    Jack Walton
    Liam Lindsay
    Adam Jackson
    Ethan Pinnock
    Matty Pearson
    Dimitri Cavare
    Dani Pinillos
    Zeki Fryers
    Stevie Mallan
    Christoph Knamullner
    Mamadou Thiam
    Jared Bird
    Jacob Brown
    Dylan Motley Henry

Sorry Jay but just because the team has a bad season doesn't make all their players crap. If it does somebody had better tell McBurnie he's useless.
Another slant on your post might be...
Hammill, Isgrove and Davies all part of a promoted League One team that, by the end of the season was head and shoulders above the rest.
Bradshaw, one of the league's three top scorers.
Mccarthy, player of the season at Walsall.
George Moncur, one of the stand out midfielders in the league.

Lindsay, Jackson, Pinnock, Moore should all be able to cut it. Hopefully convincingly.

It's all subjective but you can put different slants on most things.

John stones spent a while in a championship side at the wrong end of the table before Everton came in for him.
Colchester were in the relegation zone in league one but Ipswich still signed Freddy Sears.
Danny ward got relegated with rotherham but signed for Cardiff for 2million
They is probley loads similar Just because a team don't perform doesn't mean they don't have some players who should be playing at a higher level.

You'll have to point out where I said it does. Or any conclusions I made at all.

Just that we hadn't signed many players from League 1 teams. That our squad isn't very experienced at that level and certainly not successful. Don't think you can draw any conclusions about individual performances from what I posted.

If I were to draw any conclusions it would be that we have an awful lot of players who are used to losing a lot more football matches than they win. Not just with us, but with their past teams. It's become a habit for a lot of them and that worries me.

I do think we've got players on the books who can perform well in L1. I don't put too much emphasis on what form their previous clubs were in. Walsall had a brilliant season when Bradshww wad there for instance. I do take your point in relation to Moncur though. He definitely needs to develop a winning mentality.
I'm more worried about the losing mentality they've developed in the last half of this season. Whoever comes in as manager has to turn that round.
Maybe that was part of Morais' downfall, he was unable to inspire and motivate.
I'm hoping we get the manager right and the rest should follow.
